Love this reciever, sounds amazing and makes you feel like you are right there in the acting

Yamaha RX-A6A is one of the best amps I have gotten in years.The feachers and sound are great. I wish i had gotten it a couple of years ago.

Product was listed as open box, excellent condition. It arrived in a makeshift cardboard box that only covered part of the bubble wrap underneath. The receiver had broken antennas, a broken volume wheel, missing all accessories as well. I don’t understand how they even shipped it out.

This receiver is loaded with more customizations than I will ever use. The ability to have multiple zones going with different applications is the main reason I chose this model. I replaced a 10 year old onkyo that was melting hdmi cables and just out of date.

Excellent product pure sounds great power modern technologies

In typical Yamaha fashion, the user interface and remote are excellent. The thing is heavy, weighing around 50 pounds by my estimate, but that means there's some serious hardware in there. One feature I wish it had would be the ability to change the mute function into a 20 or 40db attenuation instead of a full mute.

I really wanted to like this receiver. Sound was great and setup was fairly easy. It was disappointing that the HDMI 2.1 (for Xbox Series X, ps5 and Nvidia RTX 30-series) wasn’t working out of the box, but was willing to wait for firmware update. My issue was that the receiver would not display Dolby vision with my 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro. I would get a black screen and no sound. If I went to another input and back I would get picture, but no sound. I updated with newest firmware, but problem remained. This was a deal breaker at this price point and returned. I’ve had no issues with this on my Denon receiver.

Sound and Pictures quality are amazing. Enough power for the big speakers to be plsced in mid to large size room home theater. Very satisfied with the performance.
