These speakers work well. They are a bit bass heavy despite the compact size. You need really strong and high speed wi-if though or they will hog up your connection. I have 4 of them and we have to unplug one of them sometime or the WiFi gets so slow.

I was looking to create some secondary zones that would play whatever was playing off of my receiver and everything I saw was Bluetooth to a phone only, unless I wanted to pay for a Sonos system. Purchasing the compatible receiver from Yamaha and then this speaker was a great system. It plays exactly how I want without needing a separate receiver and Sonos system. More economically sound and now I can listen anywhere in the house.

Pretty good standalone product. Has the ability for a multi speaker system. There is a bit lag when syncing the speakers. Very versatile in terms be able to stream spotify, air-play, servers, Bluetooth and others. Underrated.

I bought this to use the MusicCast feature with my Yamaha RX-A760 receiver. The receiver works good as a receiver and does what it is suppose to but the MusciCast feature for multi room does not work. If you want multi room look at another manufacturer. DO NOT BUY YAMAHA FOR MULTI ROOM CAPABILITY. There is a constant skip it simply DOES NOT WORK. I currently have an open case with Yamaga (slow response). They seem to know this feature does not work and are just dragging this out, and yes I'm running the latest firmware on the units and the latest software on iPhone and MusicCast app. Very dissatisfied.

Love this device (I have two of them in the home) -- easy to setup and works well with prime music and my iPhone.
