Good speakers, but I expected more for the price

While I enjoy them very much, I have seen many speakers (aka Radio Shack), for half the price that deliver a deeper sound. These really have a teeny sound for the price and are not typical Yamaha quality if you ask me.

Decent Sound

Thin weak

I wanted to return them but wife threw out the box. Replaced them with niles 7.5, and wow a world of difference. For anyone who cares about accurate sound, normal base, and low distortion, stay away from these, you won't be happy.
