It's ok for the price, would be much better if they were of higher sensitivity.

The speakers had issues with sound quality. The wire connections are exposed and corrode in the outside atmosphere. This caused the speakers to short the coil. I bought four pair of speakers and they all had the same issues. Best Buy did not stand behind the product and Yamaha has not corrected the issues. I bought Polk Audio external speakers and love them.

Overall, they were ok, but for the money I would expect some low end. I liked the shape and mounting options.

They do not handle bass at all. Blew out wires on voice coils.

They are inexpensive for a reason. Weak, thin sound.

First I will start is this comes with most everything you'll need. Bracket and such is all included but if you wanted to put this in a wall. You will need your own bolts. With the brackets you can tilt it up and down how ever you like. However I did not attempt to make it left and right but it does seem to have that option depending on installation. Other wise the connection in the cable seems very secure. I tugged at it decently hard and the chord did not come out. Now to the sound. I bough this for my back Padio. I needed something that I could hear over the bubbles of my hot tub and this goes loud. So loud my wife yelled at me to turn it down :P with the reciever I was able to adjust base treble etc. overall great product for the price. I would reconmend this to others.

Speakers not very quality sound. Would be good for announcing not music.

Sound quality is very basic kinda like a computer speaker.

Oldwe ones with the screw on terminals sound great. No matter what I do these sound distorted. Not happy at all. I work in the music industry and the new model with the slide connectors are the worst. Will never buy again.

I listened to these speakers at my local Best Buy and couldn't believe how good they sounded at their price point, much better than some other speakers that cost way more $$. Since only the black color is available in stores, I ordered the white ones from bestbuy.com so they would blend in better with the trim on my home (I was surprised to find that I could even redeem my Reward Zone certificates for online purchases). They arrived at my home 1.5 days later with free shipping, and in a matter of hours they were up and we were listening to them on our patio. I bought some 16 gauge outdoor speaker wire at Radio Shack and ran the wires through an existing hole in the house for the central A/C lines. Check them out--you won't be disappointed in the sound quality and your wallet will be happy to!

Poor Sound Quality. Not very loud at all. Not very good

I bought these speakers for my daughters outdoor parties and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of sound. For their size they put out a tone of music with deep base tones and crisp highs. I was nervous that running them off the B-side of my 400-watt receiver would fry them, but they handled it like a champ. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone who needs great sound outside the house.

I don’t know if they work or not. Magnolia installed them but never could get sound to them.

I needed some outdoor speakers for the pool/patio area. SInce I planned on mounting them on the garage and they would be outside I didn't want to spend a lot. I planned on buying the Definitive Technology outdoor speakers that had good reviews, but the local BestBuy didn't have them in stock. I compared these Yamaha's to the Klipsch, but couldn't justify spending $270 on the Klipsch when they sounded only marginally better. I purchased the Yamaha's and mounted them on the garage. Only minus was that they didn't come with speaker wire. Oh well.... I also purchased a cheap Sony receiver ($114) for the garage. After hooking everything up, I was totally AMAZED! Wow the sound was incredible. Nice bass and good quality sound. I have several Bose products and I can't remember ever being in awe of such quality. You won't be disappointed in these.

I was looking for a decent outdoor speaker without killing the bank. Read the reviews and ask my buddy that had the same set and thought I would give them a try. The sound is great for the money. There are much better outdoor speakers, but you will be paying over 300 for them. Low end is decent as in mid bass not bass, and the highs are great. But being outdoors you might want to go with the Klispch. They have horns instead of tweaters which will throw the sound out farther. I have to turn them up to be able to hear them well at a distance of 20 ft. But overall where I will be listening to them, they do the job, and like i said without breaking the bank.

These speakers have no life. I ended up returning them.

Very happy with the range and quality of the sound. Fills the lanai with interior quality sound. Installation was a snap with the biggest part, running the wiring. The appearance could be more stylish and smaller. But for price and value, I couldn't find anything better.

After reading a couple of negative reviews I was a little nervous about making this purchase but I decided to take a chance on them. After installing I was shocked out the volume and clarity these speakers produce. I have a Denon pushing them so i am can put plenty of power to them. The brackets only move in one direction which limits mounting options but I was able to work through it. Overall extremely pleased with the sound the speakers produce.
