I've had to dial the volume on this sub down several times because I've been surprised by how much it can output for such a small unit. Very impressed!

Hooked up to Yamaha 5.1 system. Using only 2.1. Def Tech 350's set to small, crossover set to 120hz, and this sub does the rest. Excellent for my bedroom. I believe it would do a fantastic job for anyone in this price range, size. Only draw back is the on off switch, it does not sense volume to turn on and off. Solved with a extension cord with a built in power switch.

I bought this sub woofer and it sounds unbelievable! I have a Yamaha Aventage RX-760 Receiver and the sub woofer links well with it. It literally rocks my room. What a great purchase, I will always be a Yamaha customer.

Adds so much to the sound of everything. Even old shows and movies that don’t have a lot of bass in their soundtrack.

Spent 700 dollars on a yamaha setup. This sub is ok... my 150 dollar sony surround sond bass sounds as good if not better. This sub feels like its gonna blow can ony turn it up to 5.

This sub came with the bundled yamaha 5.1 speakers and preamp. Very happy with everything except this subwoofer. The bass is not very loud and gets muddy if you turn it up high. It doesnt drown out the dialogue for tv and movies which is good, but i expected more. May be replacing this piece in my setup!
