5 stars. Great receiver that has an excellent value for only $150. No fiddling with speaker wire when it doesn't fit correctly. Clear audio and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth introduces 60ms of lag (not a problem if using with just music).

The new Samsung TV did not have the 'old style' audio out jack..and it was time to get a better receiver that could manage the more modern world... all I needed was a good rig..two channel stereo and Bluetooth Enabled compatible for sound from the TV.. works great. The Yamaha brand looks good and fit well and comfortably with my new 'high end' TV and existing Bose speakers. Works and sounds great! I recommend this receiver for friends and customers.. Receiver was an answer to my musical tastes. It plays all input abilities in top quality and even the turn table you get that cool feel of how a LP should sound. Very much happy.

What a great unit! It's well priced and served my needs perfectly. I have it setup in my garage powering 2 bookshelf speakers in the garage and then feeding 2 yamaha outdoor speakers. The audio is crisp and clear, there aren't any issues with the inputs and bluetooth is solid. The unit is sleek and there aren't any unnecessary or cluttered buttons. It's straightforward for a multi-channel stereo system and perfect.

Great receiver for the price very good quality easy setup

We still have old speaker system in ceiling at work, and this receiver bluetooth connect works well with ipad as our music player. Recommend, easy use, easy bluetoot connect, more audio inputs than needed. Bluetooth is the driving factor, and Yamaha brand quality

Great receiver for the price. Sound is a little different than my old Yamaha receiver but still sounds good and power is about the same as my R7. It has some good features like 5 inputs, Bluetooth and sleep timer.

So...this is not a high end receiver. I have some high end Def Tech speakers in my theater room where there just isn't enough power from this receiver. What I will say for my application this is a phenomenal receiver. It has a quality feel and look. I use this to power my pool and garage speakers. I have a pair of polk atrium 6's and a pair of def tech 5500's. In the garage I have 2 ceiling monoprice speakers. I run all my speakers through a Niles SSVC-4 to match the impedance. Zero issues and sound quality is excellent. Again power isn't going to blow you away, but for ambiance around pool and deck its amazing. It does get loud, don't get me wrong, just not dance club loud. And under $150??? Can't be beat.

This is a great receiver! I connected it to my 40 year old Realistic speakers (about 24 inches high and 12 inches wide) and it drove them perfectly. It also integrates seamlessly with my Amazon Echo Dot and allows me to play my Amazon Music collection any time.
