I had a Onkyo that was a really great unit but it was just not there power wise. This unit is all there except the ATMOS part. You will just love it!!!

Good receiver

Only running a 2.0 setup currently but I like all of the customization options as I add on to my system. The app to connect is a bit wonky but does eventually work after trying to connect a few times. A little disappointing you have to go to their website for the full manual but it seems all electronics are that way now.

Great upgrade

Set up was easy, the only glitch I ran into was not Yamahas issue. I had to change the delay time on my Harmony remote as it wasn't switching to the correct input.

Seamless performance in that regard, just puts a Bluetooth button on the included remote and away you go. Amplification for radio channels is very good, crisp, clean and clear. Almost too loud even at -25db’s…impressive!

AV Receiver

The new receiver is coupled with a Sony TV. They work wonderfully together. We are using one remote, instead of two.

HDMI Not reproducing sound.

So many problems with the HDMI connections. Now it has me looking for another receiver. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this model. Not worth the headache.

Once installed it does exactly what I expected. Good sound, the rear surround catches me off guard at times. Very clear sound. Nice looking unit.
