Yamaha RX - Open Box purchase - Good Deal

It was in excellent condition when it arrived and appears to work just fine. Contacting Best Buy for installation assistance through Geek Squad.

Had to give two stars because with 10months of average use, it will no longer turn on. Have to take it to Geek Squad to check it out.

Upgraded from rx-v675

Good replacement

Remote is much simpler but seem to have all the functionality at least for what i need. ARC works well. Smart functions are much improved. Seem to communicate with the tv, switching speakers when using receiver and back to tv when its off. Front panel controls take some learning, many less buttons than the old one. So far only my old blu-ray is the only thing that doesn't wish to work with it.

Nice Dolby Atmos

The main concern I have is that it is difficult to know if it is playing in Atmos or not. Amazon 4k fire stick does not but Apple tv4k does. Wish that some of the features would get updates VRR and 8k. But overall a good system
