Excellent receiver, but hard to set up

You have to use the app to set up rooms because the instructions with the receiver don't have any information. There is a lack of any instructions with the receiver and Yamaha online make it difficult to set up. But that should not discourage people from buying. It is worth the effort once you get the hang of it.

I was fortunate even though it wasn’t packed safely it arrived without any damage. Love my purchase and would highly encourage anyone to purchase

HDMI ports fail at 4K 60Hz setting

So far 3 different ports with the inputs from my gaming PC have failed at this setting. This is the second of the same Yamaha-receivers that has had this issue.

Every now and then it takes a few minutes to actually turn on and display input to the TV. It does eventually come on after the TV blinks for a bit on and off and then the sound cuts on.
