    When i first set this soundbar up, it would NOT connect to Wi-Fi. I tried various methods over a couple nights to connect it, but, eventually, I learned how to update from Yamaha's website via USB drive in an effort to resolve the issue. By the time i learned and did that, I was ready to be happy just calling a 4-star 'bar (don't care about Alexa integration) and resolved myself to manual updates because the performance otherwise was amazing. Even before updating, the sound was clear, powerful, and well-controlled, and the unit flawlessly integrated into my setup, what with the 'bar awakening with whatever device is awoken (made the most of those ports...). This failed to fixed the connectivity problem. Checked a week or so later for no good reason, and it did connect to the Wi-Fi. Can't wait to grab a set of those satellite speakers to throw behind the sofa!
