great system and easy set up! Directions were easy to follow, sound is awesome, and the price was right!

This ain't no little satellite system. This has a big speaker sound, that closely imitates the movie theater experience. Very pleasantly surprised. I originally thought that I would be sacrificing quality for size - not at all!

So far I am struggling to get a full 5.1 surround out of this. Even with the techs help it seems the settings are hard to flip through to find the right ones. Nice system, has an HDMI out port to get on screen in depth menus on the tv to make changes and set up. Decent but still trying to get it set up correctly.

It sounds and looks great in my living room. It was easy to set up and makes watching movies and the Races on TV so much better.

Lots of bells and whistles on this, but all I wanted was to plug in my TV to a larger sound. I don't connect bluetooth devices or listen to the radio on it. For my purposes, a soundbar would have worked better. Still, it sounds nice and went together pretty easily. I am keeping it, but could have saved money. I just won't get the most out of it that it has to give.

Upgrade from a 15 year old Yamaha sound system this gives all the sound options with todays streaming and extra options, easy to install

Huge upgrade from a 14 year old Vizio 5.1 soundbar! Setup is easy and I upgraded the cables and used banana plugs instead!

Fast, easy set-up. Like all the other Yamaha receivers I have and have had, the quality and life expectancy will be there Im sure. Good kit!

Other reviews saying it blew them away… look it’s fine, miles better than TV speakers and the sub packs a punch. But other than that it’s mid, audio is not clear, surround speakers lack any bass whatsoever so the sun works overtime to fill that. Like I said, just alright, could be better than some cheap sound bars but some of today’s modern sound bars would definitely blow this out of the water. Included AV Receiver is pretty good for the money, lacking airplay but otherwise alright.

Incredible sound. We rarely go to the theater anymore because this is so amazing our house is basically a theater. The subwoofer makes you feel the action.

I like the fidelity sound quality and easy installation. It’s my best companion for enjoying movies and Karaoke.

Good budget receiver. I replaced the speakers With martin Logan 5.2 surround and they sound amazing

The system does everything I wanted it to do an more. I would recommend getting a spool of speaker wire as the 85' that comes with it is not enough if you are doing full surround setup. Other than that, it is a great system for the price.

I already checked the specs on this baby and I knew I was buying one. I was going to get it online from a different store, but BB matched the price, and I am very grateful they did. Nice that I was able to get the full package in one shot. I used these speakers on my current Rcvr (which is also a Yamaha), and made that setup my secondary. Used my current speakers on this Rcvr and made that my primary. I was very happy with my old Yamaha receiver, but I needed a second receiver and I sticking with Yamaha. I don't have huge rooms so this Rcvr's power is more than enough for my needs...very happy with BB, and this purchase.
