If you ever played Banjo and Kazooie for Ninentendo 64, this is your game. It’s almost identical with a few extra moves and incentives. It’s adorable and fun with a cute bibliophile theme which won me over from the start. Aimed more towards older kids and adults unlike Mario, but still fun!

If you like Banjo Kazooie/Twooie you'll probably like this. It's a very faithful spiritual successor to those games. So much that the music almost blends together and I find myself thinking of songs from BK while whistling along to these new ones. Lots of collecting and puzzle play.

This isn't a game that reinvents the wheel, but celebrates the past. It's a loving homage to the works of RARE like Banjo and Kazooie. It has flaws that can be best described as part of the charm of this title. If you want to walk back in time, then it's definetly worth your time!

This game is made by the old crew who made the hit n64 games. This is a really good updated version to the old collectathon formula. Definitely a must buy. Had the physical copy preordered, it's that great of a game!

Limited run wanted to bring some nostalgia back with physical release that's a callback to the likes of 90s platformers that also includes an instruction booklet. The game itself reminds me of Donkey Kong 64 and Bajo Kazooie. Its done a few things differently but well worth the playtime.

A swan song to those collect-a-thon games from your childhood. Devs patched the heck out of it since it's release, so it's a great game to pick-up now. Give it a shot if you've been wanting to try it, might scratch your nostalgia itch.

I originally wanted this game because it's supposed to be close to an old favorite of my childhood, banjo kazooie, and those creators worked on it. So glad Best Buy is working to carry Limtied Run games. I am a physical copy person, and it is just a great thing to find in store.

A great sequel to a Banjo game that we never got. A bit of a collect-a-thon, but that's exactly the feeling I wanted. I wish more 3D platformers like this would make a comeback. Guaranteed you'll enjoy it!

This game was made by the team behind Banjo Kazooie which is a highly regarded platformer on N64. And it shows. This is a fun game an especially in handheld mode which the other systems will not let you do. This is a limited run game so get it before it’s gone

This game is made by the old rare developer team and you can honestly tell, so far I'm enjoying this game and really glad best buy is selling limited run games because I prefer physical copies

Great game. I have missed it when it was being sold by Limited Run Games, so I was pretty excited to find it on BestBuy. This is a good game to play to pass the time.

I am loving this game! It has bright colors and simple characters with minimum violence. The tasks while not simple are not impossible to complete so each time I play I feel as if I am accomplishing a goal.

well i played the squel and that was a lotta fun so i found out it had a first game to it so i had to order it and its been a blast to play a lot of challenges in the game

This game is a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie and it accomplished just that. That nostalgia from the old school days of playing Banjo Kazooie is experienced with a modern twist in this game.

The reviews from metacritic are a bit harsh cause they're comparing this to a nostalgia trip they were anticipating. A chameleon and bat aren't as appealing as the bear and bird, but it's still a fun time.

I bought this game for my bf's ps4 and got completely addicted. He has since taken over the ps4, so I bought it for my Switch. I love that I can bring it with me on the go.

I love 3d platformers, and while this isn't as good as Banjo Kazooie, made by the same folks, it's still a lot of fun. Colorful, vibrant and full of humor!

If you grew up playing games like banjo kazooie and donkey Kong 64 and you have fond memories of those games then you should definitely give Yooka Laylee a try.

I got this game because I was a huge banjo and Kazooie fan. It’s kind of the same style of play and I highly recommend if you like those style games.
