Not only have I been waiting for this on 4K but a Steelbook as well? I was so excited when it was announced and now that I have it I am not disappointed! Overall, the package for the price? It's an insane deal! You get the blu ray and 4K blu ray discs, commentary, and some nice extras. The slip cover is nice and it lists the actors real names as aliases which I thought was neat. Another nice addition are the poker cards with some of em having minor differences on the mirrored image. and the Steelbook itself? beautiful! Most def one of my fav Steelbooks in my collection now.

I've gotta say--- The 35th Anniversary (oof I'm old) 4K Steelbook release of 'Young Guns' may very well be the most beautiful steelbook (or any other 4K, Bluray, DVD, LaserDisc, VHS, or BetaMax) I have in my library... simply stunning. Pics do not do this beauty justice. The protective case is amazing and the steel artwork underneath is worthy of framing. Add in the oversized cards and THIS is how you package a disc. The 4K transfer??? Pure perfection.

LIONSGATE understands how to do steelbooks right and the slipcovers are such a great bonus. As far as the picture Young Guns has never looked better for the home movie experience. This is a stellar edition of Young Guns! Lionsgate is knocking it out of the park with these limited edition Slipcovered Steelbook releases! The movie has never looked better. 10 outta 10 would recommend! Also, the cool little postcard sized character playing cards that's included was a nice little touch!

Shipped in a box with bubble resulted in this item areiving in near mint condition. Awesome! Steelbook itself is well designed and atteactive. The wanted slipcover is great. 4k transfer was solid, atmos sounds good in the shoot outs. Great and recommended pickup.

Great movie, cool stealbook. And some picture cards of the main gang. Only taking a * off because the plastic cover pic for the steelbook is a bit better than the steelbook picture.

This is somewhat of a skewed review because realistically, if one buys physical media, that person is a lover of that music/ movie/ etc. That said, what a stunning steelbook! Like others who have posted, the art work and the inclusions and extras are top notch! Kudos to Lionsgate for making a worthy edition. My only beef with the marketing is (and every other studio re-releasing classic/ cult faves in new packaging) why call out an anniversary? Yeah, it's an old movie - but what happens in 5 years for the 40th? We rake out the 35th Anniversary Edition and say this was 5 years ago already?? Hmm - Just call it a Collector's Edition, a Double Barreled Edition, etc. I digress - The 4K picture of this disc is amazing, though there are a few shots where the enhanced digitization seems a bit too bright, but that's nitpicking. There is no better version of this film. The sound is top notch, and those of you who have multiple speaker set-ups, that system will get a workout! The dialogue is clear, the soundtrack is crisp, and the battles are exactly what Western fans want with ricocheting bullets, booming shotgun blasts, and hooves clopping all over the place. Thank you Best Buy and Lion's Gate for this special release!

If you can still pick this one up, get it! The 4K upgrade here brings the film to life in stunning detail and the packaging is amazing. The SteelBook is just stunning inside and out. Plus, it is packed with playing cards of the stars of the film. Did I mention it looks amazing? Did I also mention the Dolby Atmos sounds amazing! During the gun fight that takes place in the house, I heard bullets all over the room, even overhead there were effects from shots. I've never owned this film on a home media release before, but I have seen it many times. It had been years since I had seen it and I wasn't sure I needed it in my collection, but I am so glad I pulled the trigger (pun intended). :)

Although Best Buy is no longer in the physical media business, this by far is one of the best steel books I have ever owned! The goodies in the inside of the package was very unexpected. The video and audio is the best this movie has ever been hands down! If you own any other version, make sure you buy this one to replace it.

I like the Billy the kid legend, good action movie to watch

Kudos to Lionsgate for a great package on this 80s western. Outstanding transfer (miles from the original blu-ray release). Excellent slipcover on the steel, plus a blu-ray, and digital copy for a REASONABLE price for a catalog release. The steelbook survived the horrible bubble mailer without damage (a true rarity these days!)

The movie was okay. I just don’t feel like it aged well. However, the 4K transfer was very good and the packaging on this steelbook is great. I give the movie three stars for the movie. The quality of the transfer, the packaging, and the $19.99 price point earned it the additional two stars.

Really enjoy this movie!!! Awesome seeing the actors then and now. They all were actually pretty good from the start. I like the artwork on the steelbook case and added feature of the LARGE playing cards with each Young Guns character pictured. I usually don't go in for that, but I did this time. :-)

The steelbook itself is well printed with stunning art. The slipcover layer over the steelbook adds greatly to the package. In addition there are art cards of all the main characters! What an excellent debut of Young Guns on 4K. Hopefully the sequel comes out on a steelbook edition sometime soon!

This steelbook was a treat to own. It came with many surprises-well, if ypu knew about it it wasnt a surprise but still, having the peoduct in hand is by far nicer than the advertised pictures online. I highly recommend this edition of Young Guns

Great movie. Great 4K transfer. Lots of great stuff in the package!

I really love this limited edition steelbook Young Guns movie. This movie came with very Kool playing cards with the pictures of the Regulators like before and after pictures it's very Kool. I really like this Best buy they always get really kool collectors boxes.

This is the best steelbook of the year! The transfer is on point and the sound is excellent but the packaging is the kicker! This is a beautiful steelbook! And the surprise inside makes this a must have for YG fans!
