I was really excited when this game was published on ps4. It was originally a PS Vita game. This edition also comes with a soundtrack and 12 art cards. Besides the bonus items, the actual gameplay was better than I have expected. I really like its combat system; it was easy to control and navigate the game world, and the storyline was also interesting.

The game itself is fun if you enjoy your Ys games and Xseed did I nice job with the translation as well as throwing in a few extra goodies in the process. This is a port of a Vita handheld game however and some of the character models and textures didn't transition well to higher resolutions on the big screen. The almost constant 60fps is a nice bonus though, with only a few dips within some towns. The gameplay experience as a result is very fast and smooth, which is great for Ys games.

A very fun Ys game. Has good music and fun combat. Prefer others in the franchise, but enjoyed my time with it.

A remastered port of vita version which was first released on steam and now ps4. If you have a ps4 pro you can enjoy this great game in 4k 60fps.
Fast paced gameplay. Attack and dodge enemies and switch between different teammates with their own abilities and fighting style.
Graphics are outdated because it's a vita game originally.

Keep in mind this is a port of a handheld game from 8 years ago!
All you need to know is that it's an action RPG with lots of grinding and a good story. This is the best version. You'll love it.
Mainly just wanted to give it 5 stars because somebody didn't do their research and gave it a lower score for it.

Being an HD port of the Vita version, I hoped the game would have taken full advantage of the PS4 and had adjustments made, but instead it simply feels like playing the game on an emulator. The UI is not scaled properly, and there are framerate issues, but at this heart its still a fun game.

If you’re a fan of Y’s, trails of, tales of, FF, DQ and/or any other beloved JRPG franchise you should definitely pick this up for your collection now...NEXT!
If you have no idea what the first sentence meant, but would like to purchase a game with: a memorable story about lost memories, a cast of colorful characters, high-paced, button-hammering hijinks and a review riddled with enough alliteration to annihilate the entirety of the Asian continent, you’ve already arrived at said space you silly goose!
First and foremost, and of the utmost importance,
the game itself is highly addictive and the combat and RPG elements of leveling up characters and equipment is easy enough for earnest beginners and enjoyable enough to incorrigible Gen X reviewers.
The story is cute, cast with a crew of creativly crafted characters and a cornucopia of crafting materials at your disposal. The environments are enveloped in that Y’s style Nihon Falcom is know for
satisfying the stained-fingers or worn thumbs of the art savvy gamer. Twelve styilized post cards of the Sisters of the series are also included with this set, if you flip them over there is a nice surprise in store!
The soundsscapes should also be noted. The scorer of these spectacular sounds usually gets a second disc sealed away inside the special editions of these titles and this editions sticks to that status. 14 tracks from various sound staff are included.
Lastly, but not leastly, this is a PS-Vita port from many moons ago so you can expect the game AI to go all gobbildygook from time to time but it never spoiled the goods.

This game is pretty good for the PS4. I thought it had very good music and the battles were pretty fun. It's not the best Ys game, but I like it more than some of the older games. This game was also released for the Sony Vita handheld, but I never had a Vita.

Nothing short from stellar… This game truly put back the last memories of the Vita only game now on PS4. And it’s just as good as it was when it was a portable exclusive that sony PlayStation wants you to forget that they ever released

In spite of an ending that leaves much to be desired, Ys: Memories of Celceta is a great action-RPG that re-contextualizes a decades-old franchise for a modern audience. Adol's adventure mapping out the Great Forest of Celceta is an excellent introduction for newcomers, and a competent re-release for series veterans.

Ys games are pretty fun and chill. Story is pretty standard of the mill and gameplay is similar to others in the series. This is the remaster from the PSVita so graphic a bit dated. Gameplay is fun and worth it to playthrough.

Celceta is still an excellent introduction to the Seven combat engine for those playing Ys in chronological order.
This copious amount of customization allows players to develop their own favourite combos.
Story is really good (minus one part that maybe a let down)
Graphics are a bit outdated but it works.
