The Switch is quickly become a great console to play RPG’s on the go, and YS VIII is no exception. Fun boss battles, generous saving features, and intriguing story make this a must-buy.

I am enjoying this game, the story and mechanics are really good, Battle System is really good too although I need to get better at the controls for the combos and specials. The only minor thing are the graphics, in some scenarios you can see the pixels there but nothing too bad.

Y's gives the Switch a solid action RPG. Light on plot, but heavy on charm, Lacrimosa of Dana is a great experience (enhanced by a fabulous soundtrack) and not to be missed!

Not far into Ys 8 yet but have been enjoying it so far. Well made game good graphics in both portable and docked modes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good adventure

Bought this for my daughter based on the picture on front. She had never heard of it, but told me after she played that she loves it!

One of the best Ys games IMO. So far having a blast exploring and getting castaways to join up! Playing in un-docked mode as it does look a lot better than docked on the tv. Enjoying the game a lot and a must have for Ys fans. I skipped the PS4 for the switch version and it was worth it.

This game caught me by surprise just how fun it is. If you’re a fan of games like XBC, then you’ll really enjoy this game. Don’t have any regrets with purchase.

If you have played any of the past entries then don't hesitate to purchase this one. This isn't a bad conversion of the vita/PS4 version. Perfect for on the go.

I forgot how great the YS series is. the last one I played was ys 7 on psp and this surpasses it immensely.

Though there are many Ys games, any one is a good entry point as the stories are not connected. Fast action rpg with a dope metal soundtrack.

Very large and deep game. Lots to do and many hours of gameplay. Combat is real time, so this should satisfy action game fans as well as rpg fans.

This is my first game in this series and its really fun. A good jumping on point for people who want a fun RPG to play.

I am a big fan of Ys play since from the 1st gen. It's a must have for all Ys fan not only the graphic is good and also the story.

I love the Y's series and this is by far the best of the series had to offer so far. I purchased the PS4 version and love this game.

This game has a fastpass and is addictive once you get the hang of things. I recommend for any one who enjoyed Xenoblade chronicles

So far I am thoroughly enjoying this game. It is fun with a nice story that isn't overly ridiculous but fun and engaging. I am not done with the game but as of now I am enjoying it. I am looking forward to more time with this game.

If you love the Ys series or any action adventure rpg. You'll love this game! Even if you dont buy it on the switch.

Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana is a great JRPG. After I finished Xenoblade and Mario Odyssey, I was worried that I wouldn't have anything to play, but when I hear Ys was being ported to the switch, I was excited. I really love this game. I love the gameplay mechanics, characters and story. It includes 18 DLC, and Ys VIII adventure plus. For anyone who is contemplating, it is a must have for the Switch.
