I purchased the YubiKey 5 NFC to make my online experience much safer. I am still learning how to use this key so there is a learning curve for me to overcome. With that being said, watch a lot of YouTube videos and articles that describe how to operate this key.

I'll probably buy another one of these to keep at home. It's added peace of mind to have a MFA device other than just your phone. I bought it because I forgot my phone at home and then ad to go all the way back from work to retrieve the phone...having this in my wallet would have saved me a trip. Also, my phone recently got damaged (battery issue...) and I used this setting up accounts on the new phone.

If you are serious about security, this one is a plus. As soon as you have it, you need a little research to figure out how you want to use them. This is the only way to truly do two factor authentication safely. Just make sure you grab two so you always have a backup ready to go! It’s worth to invest in securing your most important accounts and information.

Absolutely love the security that yubikey provides. The additional few seconds it takes to log into my accounts is totally worth it for the peace of mind that somebody cannot access them just by having my passwords. I have three, and recommend having that as a minimum.

I have had many different yubikeys and equivalents over the years, but they don't work with the latest passkey requirements at google. This yubikey 5 works perfectly with the pin and passkey requirements currently at google. Get one - don't get locked out of your account with an old version.

The Yubico-YubiKey 5 NFC - Two Factor Authentication Security Key is absolutely wonderful! I have piece of mind that I can lock down my accounts with the need for a physical key. Set up process was easy and the app is very user friendly.

This YubiKey is great so far! I didn't know much about these keys UNTIL I was required to purchase one by my bank in order to be able to do wire transfers. Go figure. It's pretty solid and appears to be durable. Very easy to setup and use and it is compatible with multiple devices and accounts.

Works as described. But google authenticator messes up sometimes and doesn't show option to save the security passkey to the security key. Other than that, I had no major issues. Quite expensive though.

I bought the YubiKey 5 NFC and it’s been very reliable. The USB-A plug and NFC option give great flexibility between my older laptop and mobile phone. Setup was straightforward and I feel much more secure using it than relying on app-based 2FA. A smart purchase.
