Unreliable Passkey
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After registering my Yubikey on several of my online accounts, I was locked out of those accounts due to the Yubikey Authenticator app not registering those accounts into my passkey list. Fortunately, except for one, I was able to recover all of the accounts via a different method other than Yubikey. I contacted Yubico's tech support but they were unable to provide any assistance in recovering these accounts. Since Yubikey is an unreliable passkey, I advise everyone to consider a different secure login method. Or, if you have to purchase a Yubikey, be sure to first set up another secure multi-factor login method before registering your key in any account. Doing so will prevent you from being locked out of your account due to your Yubikey not being adequately registered. I purchased two Yubikeys. The unopened and unused key was returned for a refund. The used key is in my trash can.

Probably the only safe 2FA

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple, Google, Microsoft, doesn’t matter none of them can keep you safe and if you have the unfortunate experience of having all of your stuff taken over you will find out that they will do nothing to help you either. Hackers can get access to anything now. Expensive but worth the piece of mind.
