This TV stand can accommodate my Sony XBR-65X850B on the dark tinted glass top. (It can support up to 100lbs) I was looking for something that had height and yet fit in the alcove in the living room as shown in the photos. I didn't want to hang the TV so this Z-Line furniture fit the bill. I was able to fit a B&W HTM62 center speaker perfectly, Energy bookshelf speakers, Onkyo TX-NR828 receiver, Sony DVD player and the Direct TV box with no problems. All I do is leave the glass doors open when I want to use the speakers. I'm pleased with my purchase. Measure all your speakers and equipment to make sure it will fit in the Z-Line Merako Highboy.

I was looking for a tall entertainment center with room for DVD storage. I was initially surprised at the total height but ultimately it is the perfect fit for the space.
