I got on 9/19/2025 its 10/13 on the side crack already. Wasted my money. Not worth it .

This screen protect does as it says. It protects the screen. Installation was pretty easy and following the steps gave me a trouble free and bubble free screen within minutes. It does an ok job at hiding the screen at angles, however I’ve noticed that at max brightness you can still faintly make out the contents of the screen. It also doesnt seem to cover the entirety of the screen as i can see the edges of the screen shining out from the sides when viewed at even a slight angle. Which makes it a little jarring. Touch response is good as I’ve had no issues with responsiveness. I will say that due to the nature of the polarization I can see some degradation of screen clarity when looking at bright images you get faint lines in the image cause by it. It does excel at being fingerprint proof as I’ve not had to wipe my screen at all even after hours of phone use; it remains streak less and clean. Which is a nice feature to have. Overall it’s a pretty decent screen protector, however I wish I did come with more than one, just in case this one did happen to have an accident.

This is overall a pretty great screen protector for your iPhone. I was able to remove my old screen, clean it with the included cleaning supplies and install it within a couple of minutes. The included tools and installation kit does work really well. It also does what it says and provides really good 4-way privacy filtering from prying eyes. I've looked at it from all angles and can only see what's on the screen by looking directly at all. It has also so far survived several drops (with a case though) - but the screen was still protected. My phone also has had items dropped on it and it's done a great job overall of protecting the screen. No complaints there. What really separates it from the pack is the privacy filtering, it really does work really well in that regard. The only gap for me is that it doesn't fully reach to all the edges. I know this is by design and not an installation issues because it fits perfectly over the Dynamic Island and aligns really well there. However, I notice that light shows on all four sides near the edge, a very small amount, but enough to indicate it's not truly a perfect fit. This may be because of my case but I haven't had this issue before. It's minor but enough to remove one star for me though.

I have had plenty of screen protectors in the past and alot state they go on perfect but I always have one of the edges that overlaps to much. This one went on just right. Following the easy instructions it went on perfectly. I have installed others that their instructions were complicated and I missed a step and then had to redo and then later on the protector eventually came off. This is 2 steps and you are done. What I really like about this is the 4-way privacy XTR glass screen protector which I have never had the privacy protector in the past. This is really nice as you can really see the screen straight on but if you are on either side or any other angles you cannot see the phone is even on. It is a more thicker screen protector but I like that as some I feel are to thin and you drop you phone a few feet and it shatters but I feel this one will take more shock. This works great with the ZAGG Santa Cruz case I also got with this screen protector. I did put this in my pocket with my keys thinking I was going to see scratches but it didn't show any which I was very happy to see.

Great item for privacy, like no one can see it and even you depending on how close you are to the phone. Still have some space on screen protector due to light still showing on side.

To summarize my review, I just wish there were a way to accurately photograph. My phone screen with the screen protector on. That image would speak more than 1000 words as far as demonstrating the effectiveness of the privacy screen. Some people might ask why would anyone need a privacy screen protector. Some people deal with sensitive data, but others, including myself, just don’t like when people next to us on the bus or in public places, are looking over our shoulders. Installation is a breeze. The box contains the usual alcohol, wipe and dust tape to catch any stragglers. The despite the case type mold to install the screen, I would still recommend running a hot shower to steam up the bathroom and effectively eliminate dust in the air. If you don’t care too much about any bubbles, then that’s likely overkill, but I tend to be OCD, especially with my phone screens, so seeing tiny bubbles will drive me insane. The other important part about selecting a screen protector is the warranty length and process. Zagg is hands down one of the best in this aspect. I owned several zagg screen protectors for other devices like my switch, and previous fund. If you are screen, protector gets cracked or damaged in anyway, you literally just pay shipping and get a new replacement. I have never once run into any pushback or issues with the simple process to request a warranty replacement. The only drawback I can highlight, which is not unique to Zagg, is that any privacy screen will naturally make the screen darker. In bright sunlight, it can be challenging to see your screen, but in all other situations, I haven’t had any perceived difficulties.

I'm in airports and airplanes for a large part of my life. With that said, a privacy screen is not a luxury, but necessity. The ZAGG 4-Way Privacy XTR Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 17 Pro Max is very satisfying in this regard. The privacy angle works as claimed: viewed head-on and it is sharp bright, but from the side it will soon become totally black. So in those difficult situations when I am sandwiched between two nosy neighbors in the middle seat or any other seat on a plane, I dont have to twist my phone at an angle or worry about someone stealing glances over at my messages, e-mail and company communications. It gives me peace of mind to be analyzing sensitive documents or catching up on work between flights. That said, while the optical clarity and touch sensitivity are top-tier, this protector feels a bit less rugged than some of ZAGG’s other premium offerings The privacy layer adds a touch of thickness but does not seem to help much. I cracked the side simply using it as usual-certainly not from any drops, just regular handling and jostling around in my pocket and charging area of my car. It's not a deal-killer, but worth keeping in mind if you're hard on your equipment. For frequent travelers or business professionals who value confidentiality above all else, it's a fair exchange. But if you're looking for the most rugged protection you can get from danger of shocks, then there are probably stronger choices in ZAGG's range. In short: fantastic privacy, exceptional usability, moderate ruggedness .. YMMV.

Zagg has a loyal customer base, known for its high-quality phone cases, screen protectors, and lens cases. I knew the quality of this screen protector would be top-notch. Back in the day, we’d use thin plastic film screen protectors and struggle to remove dust and bubbles. Fortunately, Zagg has made this process almost foolproof. Installation is now a breeze. Start by using the cleaning kit to remove any fingerprints, oils, or dust from your screen. Ensure the screen protector is already in place and then lay your phone face down on top of the screen protector. Next, close the back lid of the installation tray and pull the tab. As you pull the tab, it removes any small particles of dust and dirt, ensuring a clean and even fit/installation. This process was incredibly easy, and the privacy screen looks amazing on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It’s my first time using a privacy screen on my phone, and I’ve used regular glass screen protectors from other manufacturers in the past. This installation was easy, simple, and worry-free. One thing I’ve noticed is that while the screen protector protects my screen physically and from potential prying eyes, I’ve found myself increasing my screen brightness a couple of times. Maybe I am a bit paranoid, but when out in public, or a crowded area, I am often concerned of others seeing what I am doing on my phone. I doubt my Instagram would be special or more interesting, but it just feels like someone is looking over my shoulder. So I got this privacy glass screen protector. It limits the angle of view, no matter if its in landscape or portrait view. Also, since its replacing my old screen protector at a premium, it is supposed to be stronger in terms of impact, scratch and edge protection. Installation was easy with the included guide and applicator. No more worrying about aligning, centering or pealing off film. Simply place the phone in the guide, pull on some covers and the glass is installed. I do suggest cleaning the phone properly and removing any smudges from the screen before application. The installation was perfect and suited my OCD need for being perfect, and straight ! The glass does seem better quality than the one I removed and I hope the edges will not chip as with my other screen protectors. Only time will tell. After the installation, I did notice that the screen was much 'dimmer' under the glass and the viewing angle was basically only straight onward. I tried turning up the brightness which helped, but I am sure will result in more battery consumption. I shall see how much I like this after awhile, but it do what it promises. Just with some costs in terms of brightness and viewing angle.

Zagg cases are the best and so is the warranty they warranty them pretty easily. They also crack or chip pretty easily
