I have had plenty of screen protectors in the past and alot state they go on perfect but I always have one of the edges that overlaps to much. This one went on just right. Following the easy instructions it went on perfectly. I have installed others that their instructions were complicated and I missed a step and then had to redo and then later on the protector eventually came off. This is 2 steps and you are done. What I really like about this is the 4-way privacy XTR glass screen protector which I have never had the privacy protector in the past. This is really nice as you can really see the screen straight on but if you are on either side or any other angles you cannot see the phone is even on. It is a more thicker screen protector but I like that as some I feel are to thin and you drop you phone a few feet and it shatters but I feel this one will take more shock. This works great with the ZAGG Santa Cruz case I also got with this screen protector. I did put this in my pocket with my keys thinking I was going to see scratches but it didn't show any which I was very happy to see.

So, I’ve been using my new Zagg 4-Way Privacy XTR Glass Screen Protector on my iPhone 17 Pro Max for about a week now, and it’s exceeded my expectations. Back in the day, we’d use thin plastic film screen protectors and struggle to remove dust and bubbles. Fortunately, Zagg has made this process almost foolproof. Installation is now a breeze. Start by using the cleaning kit to remove any fingerprints, oils, or dust from your screen. Ensure the screen protector is already in place and then lay your phone face down on top of the screen protector. Next, close the back lid of the installation tray and pull the tab. As you pull the tab, it removes any small particles of dust and dirt, ensuring a clean and even fit/installation. This process was incredibly easy, and the privacy screen looks amazing on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It’s my first time using a privacy screen on my phone, and I’ve used regular glass screen protectors from other manufacturers in the past. This installation was easy, simple, and worry-free. One thing I’ve noticed is that while the screen protector protects my screen physically and from potential prying eyes, I’ve found myself increasing my screen brightness a couple of times. Other than that, it’s been great using this screen protector, and it’s kept my phone secure.

This screen protect does as it says. It protects the screen. Installation was pretty easy and following the steps gave me a trouble free and bubble free screen within minutes. It does an ok job at hiding the screen at angles, however I’ve noticed that at max brightness you can still faintly make out the contents of the screen. It also doesnt seem to cover the entirety of the screen as i can see the edges of the screen shining out from the sides when viewed at even a slight angle. Which makes it a little jarring. Touch response is good as I’ve had no issues with responsiveness. I will say that due to the nature of the polarization I can see some degradation of screen clarity when looking at bright images you get faint lines in the image cause by it. It does excel at being fingerprint proof as I’ve not had to wipe my screen at all even after hours of phone use; it remains streak less and clean. Which is a nice feature to have. Overall it’s a pretty decent screen protector, however I wish I did come with more than one, just in case this one did happen to have an accident.

Great item for privacy, like no one can see it and even you depending on how close you are to the phone. Still have some space on screen protector due to light still showing on side.

To summarize my review, I just wish there were a way to accurately photograph. My phone screen with the screen protector on. That image would speak more than 1000 words as far as demonstrating the effectiveness of the privacy screen. Some people might ask why would anyone need a privacy screen protector. Some people deal with sensitive data, but others, including myself, just don’t like when people next to us on the bus or in public places, are looking over our shoulders. Installation is a breeze. The box contains the usual alcohol, wipe and dust tape to catch any stragglers. The despite the case type mold to install the screen, I would still recommend running a hot shower to steam up the bathroom and effectively eliminate dust in the air. If you don’t care too much about any bubbles, then that’s likely overkill, but I tend to be OCD, especially with my phone screens, so seeing tiny bubbles will drive me insane. The other important part about selecting a screen protector is the warranty length and process. Zagg is hands down one of the best in this aspect. I owned several zagg screen protectors for other devices like my switch, and previous fund. If you are screen, protector gets cracked or damaged in anyway, you literally just pay shipping and get a new replacement. I have never once run into any pushback or issues with the simple process to request a warranty replacement. The only drawback I can highlight, which is not unique to Zagg, is that any privacy screen will naturally make the screen darker. In bright sunlight, it can be challenging to see your screen, but in all other situations, I haven’t had any perceived difficulties.

I had this put on and within a week dropped my phone and the screen cracked, taking the brunt of it. I don't love the privacy shield, especially that I can see light seeping out around the screen. But it does the job.

So this is my very first time ever purchasing this product. I normally go right on Amazon and buy my screen. Protectors should’ve followed my gut. Someone mentioned the edges and sides not completely covering the screen. That’s not really a problem for me. I understand that it’s cut like that so it could accommodate cases that could potentially break the screen protector, but my problem is it messes with the functionality of the screen. I can’t even text properly because either the screen protector is too thick or the tent is too dark. I used to be able to text it really fast even swipe my words, but now it cuts off in the middle of everything randomly. I definitely would not buy this again.

Zagg cases are the best and so is the warranty they warranty them pretty easily. They also crack or chip pretty easily
