Disappointed in guarantee that wasnt there

But when I tried to submit for a warranty claim of Aug 2024 I was told the replacement item wasn't in stock and would recieve an update when it was. After talking with zagg customer service for over 9 months later the item still has never been restocked and zagg only says wait and nothing else I can do as the discontinued the product.
