This shield does NOT have a puch or cut out for the microphone or camera on the landscape side. You will not be able to use voice to text and will have other camera or microphone issues with the front camera and mic being 100% covered. Do not buy this ‘til this issue is resolved.

Have had many of these and they have taken hard hits and cracked but protected and kept a damage from iPad. Company replaces if you break it. Great guarantee and phone reps for warranty replacement. A little trouble with air bubble on this last application but resolved

the screen saver that tec support sold me and put on was not the right one on my wife new i paid apple air it cover the microphone and camera my wife had a hard time talking it did not have a cut out for the microphone and camera .took it back to best buy took it off .now i pad work fine. and apple pencil pro works better with out the screen saver

Paid Geek Squad $14.99 to install in store and it looks great! No cutout for the camera but I believe the iPad Air only has touch ID anyway, not face ID.

Same issue that others have reported. The first model doesn’t have the cut out for the front camera and microphone and it is impossible to tell which ones do from the box.
Best bet is to hold off for a while, since Best Buy seems reluctant to pull the incorrectly designed ones off the shelf..
