BLUF: Built like a tank, but almost too heavy for the benefits Zagg aren't fibbing when they call this Rugged, it's a very solidly built case that cocoons the iPad in a thick layer of plastic. The downside is all that plastic weighs a considerable amount, and at 25 oz it more than doubles the weight you have to carry. You can leave the keyboard component behind, but then why purchase a keyboard case in the first place. Functionally, it's effective and paired to the iPad via Bluetooth quickly. The keyboard detaches for ease of use, the keys have a decent feel, and you can change the backlight color. There is a good location for the pencil, which charges with no issues and won't fall out when the case is closed. The kickstand at the back is quite stiff to flip down, but seems to support the iPad adequately, although I am somewhat concerned that the design means it may lose effectiveness over time.

This keyboard has been great. The magnet easy attaches to iPad case. Keyboard is perfect size and not too small.

I have had the 11 inch iPad Pro for about 9 months in an off brand case that provided good protection, it was not drop tested. I purchased the Zagg Rugged Book Go as an "upgrade". The iPad fell from a distance of less than four feet with the keyboard closed and the Keyboard smashed the screen. The packaging is very misleading and the case does not protect the iPad well enough. Zagg offers no guarantee that covers the iPad damage and the customer service, simply stated that they have no way of confirming that the iPad was in the case when dropped. Do not purchase this case if there is the slightest chance that you iPad Pro may fall from a short distance onto anything but pillows.

This keyboard is unable to link with my Ipad Pro. It would occasionally link, but other times i could not get it to work. After a few weeks, I gave up and returned it.

This product is garbage. The kick stand breaks after 6mo. Have had 3 replacements same problem design flaw. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK
