This case out of the package feels like a very sturdy and a protective case. It is not to heavy as some I have tried in the past have. It was easy to get on but it fits very tightly so taking it off is a bit harder but I want that in a phone case especially how expensive phones are these days. For the protection I really enjoy it as some other cases you have to use a protective ring that goes around the phone and then you have to insert into the case which then the ring sometimes falls off so you have to play around with it to get it seated correctly. This is mag-safe and works with all my mag-safe accessories I have. I purchased a case prior to this one and it didn't have mag-safe so my phone didn't work well with my previous accessories. This case works great. I also like the kickstand as then if you want to monitor things on your phone you can stand it straight up you can watch or if you want to stream a video you can turn it the other direction. I will purchase more products from Zagg in the future.

Now that Apple has decided to revert to Aluminum as the material of choice for even their highest-tier iPhone Pro Max, replacing almost indestructible Titanium of the past two years (and Stainless steel for a few years before that!) with the softest metal their cheaper phones were made from, its more important than ever to protect your digital companion with a good case that offers coverage and impact absorption. The Zagg Santa Cruz Snap is a nice protective case, answering the call well with full body coverage, a good lip of cover around the screen, and a nice design for dealing with the new protrusion on the back of the phone that Apple is calling the "plateau". There are a few design criticisms of this case, which I would deem perfect if an alternative model was announced to correct them: - Finish: If this came in a matte finish where it wasn't so shiny and slippery, it would look so good on the iPhone. The aesthetic of the Apple devices is always matte finish, I dont know why more cases aren't made to accommodate this. - Color: I love the dark grey finish on the sides and frame of the case, I only wish there was an entirely dark grey variant that replaced the clear elements with a (matte, as mentioned before) grey finish. Especially with Apple not releasing a grey/dark variant of the phone this year, only Silver, Dark Blue and Orange, it would be nice to be able to case style in this to "darken" the phone. - Design: I dont mind the exposed magnets or the contrast of the case so much, but I dont understand why the contrast created a frame around the "old" iPhone camera bump space. Why not bring that contrast frame around the entire new "plateau" area to highlight the new design. 90% of why people upgrade iPhones nowadays is to show off that they have the new one (either by color or design) as features have stayed relatively flat until this year, with the plateau showing a clear distinction on the Pro models of a deeply improved camera system. Highlighting this would have been a good idea, where this case ALMOST looks like it's trying to be a test phone case to mask the changes for someone hiding this new phone design before it's released. Maybe the manufacturer didnt fully know of the changes coming to the phone and their prototypes provided still showed a focus on the camera bump? It just keeps the case from looking as modern as it could and highlighting the change in the new phones. These design wants are subjective, so to each their own. Bottom line: This case protects well, is nice to carry and the kickstand is unobtrusive but really useful for watching videos or setting the phone down to monitor something while keeping hands free. Zagg is a protective leader and I trust their products to do a good job, even though I'd probably have made some different visual choices.

I recently received my new Zagg Santa Cruz Snap Case with Kickstand for my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its quality and robust design. Zagg has built a loyal customer base over the years, renowned for its phone cases, screen protectors, and lens cases. The case is not flimsy at all; it has a solid build. The left side features buttons for the action button, volume up, and volume down. The bottom houses the microphone and speaker grill holes, as well as the charging port. The right side includes the power button and a cut-out for the Camera Control Button/Slider. On the back, there’s a MagSafe ring for attaching MagSafe accessories like wallets, battery packs, and stands. Proper camera and sensor cut-outs are also on the back that as designed on the new iPhone 17 Pro series. I’ve been using this case for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. It feels even more sturdy than another brand I’ve used for the past few years. That case comes in two pieces to ensure sturdiness and protection. Oh, and I almost forgot, the back also features a kickstand, which is great for watching something on your phone in either portrait or landscape mode at your desk or in the kitchen if you enjoy following along with recipes. One feature I absolutely love is the little grip ridges or bumps all around the edges on the sides of the case. This is perfect for preventing your phone from slipping out of your hands. Great case to protect your investment.

Got this for my iPhone 17 Pro Max because I’m a tough guy who loves destroying his phone on a monthly basis. The case is super rugged and thick. It makes normal cases seem svelte by comparison. Most clear cases I’ve had over the years are either too slippery or add too much grip, making them get stuck on my pocket because I wear really tight pocket work pants. This one has some textured grip on the side that prevents me from dropping it but also allows it to slide freely in and out without getting stuck from friction, if that makes sense. The kickstand sits flush with the case when it’s retracted but pulls out easily. It is a thin metal bar but is very strong and sturdy, is infinitely adjustable, and stands the phone in both portrait and landscape mode. This is the other really cool feature with this case. Time will tell how the anti-yellowing works out. I am a filthy tradesman, so most of my cases get nasty. I can recommend this handily if you’re constantly dropping your phone and putting it into harm’s way like I do.

The ZAGG Santa Cruz Snap with Kickstand for the iPhone 17 Pro Max surprised me in the best way possible. I’ve always liked clear cases because they let the phone shine, but most of them turn yellow fast or feel cheap. This one doesn’t. Right out of the box, it felt sturdier and cleaner than most transparent cases I’ve used. The Jet Black accents around the edges and the camera ring give it a nice touch. Snapping it onto my phone took barely a second, and it fit with that satisfying “click” that tells you it was engineered precisely. What impressed me most is how light it feels despite all the protection baked in. ZAGG claims 13-foot drop resistance thanks to graphene reinforcement, and while I didn’t intentionally drop-test it, I did have one accidental fall from waist height onto hardwood flooring. My iPhone survived without a scratch, and the case didn’t scuff at all, so that already gave me confidence. The anti-scratch coating also helps. I toss my phone into my pockets pretty often, usually containing keys, paper receipts and coins, and it hasn’t picked up the tiny micro-scratches I usually see after a week with cheaper cases. The built-in kickstand is honestly my favorite part. It folds completely flush so it doesn’t snag on pockets, but when I pop it out, it’s solid. I’ve used it while cooking to prop up recipes and during video calls. It works in both landscape and portrait, which is something a lot of kickstands don’t do well. Also, the textured edges really do make the phone easier to grip, especially with a big device like the 17 Pro Max. MagSafe performance is also flawless. The magnets feel strong, and my existing chargers, mounts, and battery pack attach without any wobbling on my Tesla's magnetic phone mount. The case still feels slim even with all the protection, and the anti-yellowing tech seems to be doing its job so far; after a couple of weeks, it still looks crystal clear. The fact that it’s made with up to 64% recycled materials is a nice bonus too, and ZAGG’s lifetime warranty adds some solid peace of mind. This case has become my daily driver and I highly recommend it if you're looking for quality protection for your new iPhone.

This is the third Zagg case I have owned. Case is still clear as promised by the manufacturer. Stand come in handy and it is quite useful. Color accent gives this case a better look compared to All clear cases that look cheap.

I was a little skeptical at first; I worried this case might be too thick and add unnecessary bulk to my phone. But honestly, it’s not bad at all. Zagg really nailed the design here. It’s thoughtfully constructed, offers solid protection, and still manages to avoid feeling overly bulky. I have the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the clear/black combo looks fantastic with it. The orange really pops through the case, giving it a sleek, eye-catching look. One of the standout features is the kickstand. It’s surprisingly sturdy and holds my phone up effortlessly whether I’m FaceTiming or watching videos. It supports both horizontal and vertical orientations with zero wobble, super convenient! The raised front edge does a great job protecting the screen and screen protector—no more annoying corner chips on those glass protectors. The camera bump and surrounding area are also well-guarded, so if you’re worried about scratching or chipping that delicate coating, don’t be. This case has you covered. MagSafe compatibility is also on point. The magnets are strong and reliable, so accessories stay put without a hitch. The only potential downside is the added thickness. If you prioritize a super slim profile above all else, this might not be the case for you. But if you care more about protection and don’t mind a bit of extra heft, this case is absolutely worth checking out.

With the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max being so high, I needed to fins a case that offered great all-around protection. Not just that, but it needed to be lightweight and functional. As soon as I got my new iPhone, I had to look for the right case. Needless to say, I wanted something that would allow me to showoff my phone's color, and something that was also lightweight. I recently got my hands on the new ZAGG - Santa Cruz Snap with Kickstand case and have to say that I am happy I went this route. Not only does the case offer great protection, but it also is lightweight and the built-in kickstand is a major plus. The ZAGG - Santa Cruz Snap with Kickstand case has raised edges around the phone and camera lenses. I've already dropped my phone one time with this case and the ZAGG case did its job keeping my phone safe. I will definitely feel safe carrying my phone around the gym with the ZAGG case. Another great thing about the ZAGG - Santa Cruz Snap with Kickstand case is that it works with my added screen protector. There is enough clearance around the edges, which was another big concern for me. I would highly recommend the ZAGG - Santa Cruz Snap with Kickstand case to anyone.

From screen to lens protectors, I have been extremely happy with ZAGG products. The quality has been beyond my expectations every single time. This time, however, I am not as happy about it as I was with the other products. Overall quality is still excellent, like the others, but the main reason I got it was because of the kickstand and that is exactly what I’m not thrilled about. While it is well built, the location is not ideal. Unless you place your phone on a very flat surface, away from any airflow such as wind or even a fan, it will fall sideways easily when it is in a landscape/vertical mode. It seems that they avoided placing the kickstand closer to the middle to avoid the MagSafe area. That certainly prevents from affecting wireless charging negatively, but the downside is instability. When placed in vertical mode, it is more stable, but that’s rarely the way I use a kickstand. If it wasn’t for the good quality of the case itself, I would have rated it two stars, but the other parts are very good, and it doesn’t prevent wireless charging from working like many cases do. I just wouldn’t recommend it for the kickstand part. It is not useless, but not the greatest either.

The ZAGG Santa Cruz is an excellent case for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I love the clear design that allows the beautiful new orange color to shine through, what a nice touch! The protection is great as well! The raised edge around the camera as well as the overall durability of this case provides amazing drop protection. When I am using this I have no fear of my phone getting damaged at all. The MagSafe connection on this case is also very strong! I use this with vehicle based phone mounts and a bedside wireless charger and both function flawlessly! I tested charging speeds with and without this case and they are identical, so no worries of this case impeding your wireless charging speeds. The kickstand is also a very nice touch! I love using it to stream videos while working, without having to get a magnetic style kickstand. The buttons on this case all function as expected as well, and the charger port is easily accessible. This case also provides a nice grip in my hand which is a must, because I drop my phones a lot. Overall I am very satisfied with the ZAGG Santa Cruz, it's going to be in my case rotation for the life of my phone.

This Zagg iPhone case is an absolutely fantastic option to protect your iPhone 17 Pro Max. This is a crystal clear case featuring anti-yellowing technology, a kickstand, and 10 ft drop protection. The edges of the case are textured for good grip. There is a raised lip around the camera lenses to protect them when laying flat on a hard surface. The kickstand is not adjustable, but it's position is set for the most common viewing angle for both landscape and portrait viewing. The stand itself is thin, but sturdy. So I don't worry that the stand itself will break. But the phone can definitely be knocked over easily when bumped. The buttons and ports can all still be easily accessed with the case on, and the buttons still have a nice tactile click when pressed. The case is compatible with magnetic chargers and feels like it has a good strong magnet. I tried a few different magnetic chargers and all adhered very strongly to the case. Overall, I am very happy with this case. It offers nice protection, a kickstand, good grip, magnetic charger compatibility, and looks great. Easy recommendation.

First time buying a Zagg phone case, all I can say is Wow, great design and phone protection! Must have!
