This case was not a great addition for my iPad Pro. The camera cut out was totally incorrect. I returned it for a refund.

I purchased this keyboard for use with the iPad Pro 11 and after using it for the past week I am pleased with it this far. First I want to address the point that some reviewers claim that the case does not have a sleep/wake function that is not a factual or true statement because it does indeed have this function! The keyboard will also go into a sleep or power saving mode when not in use. The keyboard has most of the useful function keys volume, rewind/ forward, home screen, recent apps and the language toggle. There are two functions that appears to be missing search and brightness controls. But to me these are not necessarily needed with the iPad Pro. A quick gesture swipe down on the tablet screen will open up search and then you can tab / type with the Zagg keyboard what you are looking for. The iPad Pro also has true tone this feature actually adjusts your screen brightness according to the ambient light conditions in your surroundings therefore eliminating the need to really adjust your brightness setting at all. I also love the chiclet style keys even though I have large hands the keyboard is comfortable to type on and is very responsive. The backlighting on the keyboard is a big plus also and works great in low light conditions. As far as charging the keyboard you will need a USB C cable as it is not included with the keyboard. For me this was not an issue because I have several of those cables or you can use the one supplied with the iPad Pro. None the less these cables are not expensive and can be had at an very affordable price. I have not had any issues thus far with the stand on this product it is solid and feels sturdy. As with anything you have to use caution when unfolding the stand if you exert too much force things can and will eventually break but in normal use situations it is built sturdy enough to last. I have not had any issues with the magnets attaching the keyboard to the top piece of the case as well. In fact holding the case to the keyboard the magnets are strong enough to align and attach itself similar to the Microsoft Surface and how their keyboard attached to their respective device. The Zagg Slimbook Go is a very excellent alternative to Apples Smart Keyboard and other third party offerings. I would definitely recommend it!

I purchased this on sale, and after reading many reviews. I was well aware of the hinge issue, but luckily that hasn’t affected me yet. The keyboard was easy to pair, and has a long lasting battery life. The backlit keyboard is a dream to type on. I’ve used other brands’ keyboards in the past, and they don’t match up to this. Very tactile keys with a satisfying feel and sound to them. You do have to put your iPad into a separate rubber/plastic case in order to have the keyboard attach to it. I didn’t like this at first, as I thought it would seem a bit too bulky, but I’ve come to like it. One, it feels nice to hold the wide part (or bottom part when docked to the keyboard) while I’m drawing with the Apple Pencil. It’s almost like holding on to a drawing board. And two, it adds some protection for when my 3 year old wants to use it. Overall a great keyboard case, ESPECIALLY on sale.

Nothing stellar about this case. I have been using the Rugged Book on my iPad Air for a couple years and that thing is a freakin TANK. Both looked and felt like I could throw it down a flight of stairs and the iPad would be fine. But when I looked at the Rugged Book Go for the iPad pro, all that was gone. None of the heft and ruggedness I had grown to love. Ultimately I went with the slim because I could hardly tell the difference in quality between it and the "rugged" model. If anything the hinge on the slim model seems more durable than the rugged. Keyboard works fine. Pencil slot on the inside of the case is a nice touch, and actually creates a nice place to hold the iPad and not have your thumb obscuring a part of the screen while using. I'm sure it will serve my purposes, will just have to be a bit more careful than I was with my Air.

I love Zach products but very disappointed with this case. For the price it should have come with the charging cable. Backlight for keypad doesn’t light up very well. May as well have no backlight. The keyboard comes unhinged easily from the case if it is in your lap or uneven surface. You’re not able to fold the keyboard completely back if you want to just use iPad. Def not worth the price. Will be returning this.

Ive used ZAGG cases on my iPads for years including the iPad Pro 10.5 and the iPad Pro 11 that I currently have, the past cases have been very well made, nicely built, i ordered this one directly from ZAGG, on the first day they released them. There was nothing on the market from the big brands for the new iPad Pro’s. So i was waiting on ZAGG to come out with something because i knew their stuff would be exactly what i wanted. When i got it, i was disappointed with the over feel and design compared to my last ZAGG keyboard case i had on my 10.5 iPad Pro. But it was the best thing out. It’s worked great for however its been out now, until recently, i noticed the stand, which had been real tight since i got it, suddenly seemed much more weak/loose, then tonight when i opened it up, the left hinge broke...very disappointed.

I have always used Zagg but this case fails big time. The keys are easy to type on, but it feels very flimsy and very cumbersome to set up each and every time. Also, I have noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a search button which I found myself using a lot with my previous keyboard case. I would not recommend this case and to do a bit more research for one that works better and more user friendly
