Nice try but not enough

It's a great case, slim and comfortable with a full keyboard. But the part that holds the iPad itself is not strong enough and the device itself pops out.....just too thin and not strong enough......
Buy the TuffBook version from the same vendor......little big thicker but no more heavy with better grip and a solid joint that holds the iPad securely but still lets it go easy.

Keyboard is very light and compact. I like to carry my iPad in my handbag, so the light weight and slim design makes it easy to always have my iPad at my disposal.

I love ZAGG products. I previously had a ZAGG Folio keyboard on my iPad Air 2. I purchased this for my iPad Pro 9.7. I was excited about the idea that the tablet could detach from the keyboard when wanted. The case is sturdy and seemed to offer good protection. The keyboard was great, just like ZAGGs other products. However, the tablet detached too easy for my comfort. If you were to open it too emphatically, the tablet would detach inadvertently. I ended up returning this item a few days later just because it did not meet my expectation.

It's great if you're looking for small and slim! My only dislike is the iPad case doesn't stay firmly connected to keyboard when you're adjusting to the other modes. Also, seems to not stay firmly connected in laptop mode when using on your lap... Only when it's on hard surface.
Otherwise, it's great for potable use!

Okay but not really for iPad Pro

Keyboard functions nice. I like that you can separate them easily. But I didn't like how the speakers are covered by plastic and so the design is not really for the iPad Pro. It is not good protection for the iPad either if dropped. When you open it, it either comes out to easily or too hard.

The keyboard is fantastic... very actile and natural feel. You'll type extremely fast on this one. HOWEVER, to disconnect and use with the Apple Pencil is hard to do. Additionally, the clam shell design does not close all the way. I took it back and bought the Brydge keyboard.

This is the best keyboard. I love all the positions you can do with your iPad to accommodate typing, watching movies etc. The battery lasts so long, I keep the power on and whenever I open up the iPad and start typing, it pairs and starts typing from the first keystroke, I highly recommend!

I initially thought this case was great. The keyboard had a good feel to it and all, but the thing would just not stay on!! Needs to be a better connection to keep your iPad from falling out.

Great looking case with a nice keyboard, but the iPad kept falling out of it!! There isn't enough holding the iPad in place and for that reason I went back and exchanged it for another case.

Only use cautiously. Very delicate. Ours broke! Originally bought for my husband. Our son used it for 2 months, constantly and the part that moves/rotates when it opens & closes broke & a key came off the keyboard. Would be ok for light, delicate usage.

A good keyboard. Keys are large enough to be useful. The iPad attaches and detaches easily. it allows use of the iPad as tablet or with the keyboard. One improvement I would make would be to allow the iPad to be attached to the keyboard both horizontal and vertical.

I really like this keypad, easy to use and lightweight. You can turn it all around to watch a movie or back to type. I should have gotten this one in the first place. My last on did not last a year.

This keyboard has a good key feel with your fingers. Chose this one over the apple one because of the more real keyboard feel. As a flip case though, its not as good. It doesn't flip very well without coming apart and having to put it back together.

This case is protective in the sense that it protected the iPad when it slipped off the bed and hit the floor. However, the case broke on one side a month after I bought it.

The Zagg worked well, but I needed a keyboard that would stay attached to the iPad as well as provide extra protection. I exchanged it for a Logitech keyboard.

Love the fact that I have a keyboard built into the case - but it does add a considerable amount of weight which isn’t great if I want to toss my tablet into my pocketbook.

It works pretty well for what it is, the only glaring issue is that sometimes the case doesn't attach to the keyboard base very well. But other than that it looks good, and functions well.

The first case that I opened didn't snap in place like it should. The iPad would just detach from the keyboard, even when I was just opening it. I ended up taking it into geek squad to ask if they had heard of an issue like this. When I showed them my issue, they said that it shouldn't happen so I traded it in for the same model.
This one has worked great, I could tell right away that this one was snapping in correctly. This is a great case. If it doesn't seem to snap correctly, you may have a defective one like I did at first.
