Returning this ITEM ASAP to BEST BUY. Glad I bought the extended warranty. Poor design quality lead to breakage immediately after purchase. Entire case keeps cracking, piece by piece, each time i try to adjust the screen. Magnets have fallen out. Just a piece of C##P. I've had other ZAGG products which I was not too fond of, however, this is THE WORST ZAGG PRODUCT EVER! Will never buy ZAGG again. Period. Spend your money on ClamShell or something similar.

I love zagg but this cover is terrible, the cover broke within 2 days near the power button where it's flimsy thin.

A part of the plastic broke off and I had to contact the company for a replacement a month after I purchased it. I had to pay for shipment of the replacement. I will also have to pay for shipping of the defective back to the company. Not fair.

This keyboard really helps with the Apple Mini 4. The obly problem is the plastic case for the back is very tight and difficult to get on.

Plastic case that covers Ipad Mini is too thin around volume buttons causing case to crack and break. I have two of these cases and both cracked and are broken in same spot. These cases have not been abused and were handled very gently. Not satisfied and looking for replacements!

Concept is great, but the workmanship is not as good as previous ZAGG products.

I only had the case for one month when the part holding the iPad started to crack. Fortunately I bought a replacement warranty. I plan on getting a refund as all the posted reviews had the same complaint!

Nice keyboard that works with the iPad Mini. Easy to purchase and pickup.

Great except for a poorly designed hinge. Manufacturer will replace case of under warranty. Really like the way it works (until the hinge gets stuck).

Love this Bluetooth keyboard with backlit keys. Rotates 360 if you don't need the keyboard. Only negative for me was that it was hard to get into case.

Plastic cover cracked within days. Others report same problem. Very poor for a$120 item. Too bad nice keyboard. For the price expect better quality/durability.

This is our second zagg. This is a great improvement over earlier models. Solid. I like the fact you can take mini off of Zagg keyboard easily and the backlighting of the keyboard.

Exactly as advertised, the hinge assembly could be stronger could be just a little flimsy for some. I happen to be very gentle while opening and closing for some it may not stand up to regular use.

I bought this for a few reasons. I personally find on screen keyboards to be horrible, so have to have a keyboard for my tablet. And I have used a Zagg keyboard for my iPad 2 for years. In fact It lasted 3.5 years or so before the case broke enough that I stopped using it. So my experience with the company and its customer service allowed me to ignore the reviews and give this keyboard a try anyway. I've wanted a backlit keyboard for years but simply could not justify the cost for my old iPad. Sad to say, I had this one for only a week when I noticed the first crack. I immediately applied for a warranty replacement and its on its way. We'll give it another try and see how that one goes. I do love the design and the ability. To simply pull off the iPad from the keyboard, freeing myself up like my other folio did not allow. I can go from tablet mode to typing mode in seconds. That said, it is like other reviews have said, the part that goes over the back of the iPad seems to be made of a very brittle plastic that cracks with the least stress. It also seems to be just a fraction of a millimeter too small, making it very difficult to get the iPad in securely. I would also note that you can only use official apple chargers with this cover. Or at least the two third party ones I have both have lightning plugs whose plastic base is too large, meaning it will not fit in the case to make contact to charge. So may wish to plan accordingly there. This case scuppered my plan to use a nice long charging cord because it will not fit. So I do recommend this, but my recommendation is based more on years of experience with the company than it is this product. They do have excellent customer service. Which is the reason I ignored the reviews and bought it anyway. My replacement should be arriving soon and I'll give it a try, and if that one fails, I will be trying to exchange for something else or returning it to Best Buy. So I do recommend, but again, based on company history, however I would definitely caution owners to go and register their product online so they can take advantage of the warranty if need be. Time will tell if another version of this is worth it or if this is a product that's great in theory but lacking in execution.

This keyboard case is made of very cheap and fragile plastic. It broke very easy.

Looks great but bad quality. Case cracked twice. Returned to store and replaced it. Cracked again in the exact same spot.

Purchased some TVs and Apple products that I needed. Everything worked so well and at a very good price.

My son has one of these on his iPad mini and I thought it was a nice feature to have. I bought myself and iPad mini and got this keyboard at the same time. I love that when I travel, it covers the screen and protects it. When I want to type I don't have to use the screen and limit what's on my display. Plus I can flip my iPad around when I'm watching videos and all I see is the screen, the keyboard is behind it. Love it and you will too.

Original product was defective but ZAGG was great to work with and fixed everything with no issue
