I bought this wanting to protect my ipad, and have a keyboard. Love the keyboard and the LED lighting. However can protect until dropped. Once it drop once no matter where it will crack, and start to break slowly. Does not protect your iPad very well.

it didnt work like i had hoped but it is a good key board

The Zagg keyboard is great and easy to install and use.

When I decided to buy the new iPad mini 4 I was upset to learn that even the Apple Store didn't yet have a keyboard case for it. Then I found this convertible Zagg folio case which BB had in stock. It works perfectly with my mini 4 while protecting it in a well made, secure case. I highly recommend this case.

I loved this case until the the plastic started to just fall apart out of nowhere. I thought it was me at first giving the benefit of doubt. Keep in mind that I'm the type of person who has never even had a phone with a cracked screen, I love my gadgets. So I laid the iPad down for a few days and didn't move it, low and behold when I picked it up again more plastic pieces were cracked and breaking off. Needless to say I return it for a full refund and found that the item had been discontinued.

This is my 5th Zagg backlit keyboard for my IPads..(2) for the larger and (3) for the minis. This one was for a gift to my babysitter cause she liked my tuff book so much and I would see her struggle typing using the on-board keys. After setting it up for her, man was I impressed. Very nice looking set up, which protects the entire IPad mini. Not as tuff as my Zagg tuff book cover but this one is very nice and still pretty sturdy...buy it, you can't go wrong..great backlit keys and it's also thin which means light too.

The first one lasted a week. I took it back and exchanged it. The second one lasted two days. The keyboard is great, the iPad cover breaks around the corners. I finally read the reviews and everyone seems to have the same problem. I just ordered a newer replacement under warranty from the ZAGG manufacturer. Third time's a charm, riight?

This keyboard case is probably one of the worst purchases I have made. The case broke as I put my iPad in and proceeded to chip every time I used it. It was never dropped once. And when I tried to return it. The warrantee doesn't seem to cover the case itself. Again. Do not purchase this item.

Best keyboard out there lights up any color you want extremely long battery life

Works great with the ipad 4 I bought for my wife. She loves the convenience.

This keyboard is great. It was easily discovered by my iPad and it stays connected. It is also a smart cover so it turns your iPad off when you close it. Love it.

It was awesome for iPad mini 4 and cheap too. If it is on sale again I will buy it again.

Heavy didn't work the way I expected and the top kept coming off

I had no issues with the technical aspect. The blue tooth connection worked well and was seamless. However, the case did not last a week without breaking. It is impossible to snap the iPad in and out of the case without the thin strips of plastic around the ports, speakers, and switches breaking. Very disappointed.

Would have been nice had I actually gotten the one that fit my iPad.

This is a great case with a keyboard that can be detached when not needed.... Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice case...

I gave it 2 stars for the keyboard alone. It's a really nice sturdy keyboard. However, I should have read reviews and spoken with a couple or relatives before buying it. The case that wraps around the iPad is made of really thin rigid plastic that provides little shock resistance for the pad. Also, every single person I have spoken to has had problems with the wrap around case cracking and splitting within a really short period of time and sometimes for no apparent reason. I was no exception. I had it for a week and began to experience this problem. Again, the keyboard is sturdy and really good, but the case that wraps around the iPad is flimsy, cracks easily and frequently and provides almost no protection for the pad at all.
