Many reviews say the same thing. The case and keyboard look awesome and the keyboard functions perfectly. I'm writing this review on my mini 4 with the Zagg keyboard. What a shame they couldn't figure out how to make a half way decent case. I love how it connects/detaches from the keyboard but it's so brittle it actually cracked when I clicked the iPad into place the first time. I have been pretty careful with it ever since and everyday another piece chips off. I'm afraid that after a few short weeks the case won't even be around anymore, and then the keyboard becomes worthless. Best Buy might want to consider pulling this product - really poor quality in the case.

The keyboard is very responsive even after waking,,, must be that bluetooth 4.0 technology. backlight is very cool and you can change colors. bad: don't know if intended but putting the ipad into the shell is a very tight fit. feels like the ipad is too big. I forced it in and it seems to be ok now. i wouldn't repeatedly take the backpiece off and on though... seems like it might break if you do that. keyboard is ok to use but i have somewhat small hands. if you have big hands, i don't think this would be usable. i recommend you go try this out before buying to see if your hands fit. I also recommend buying the best buy warranty since it's so cheap.. $10 for 2 years. puts my mind at ease after reading all these reviews on here about the case breaking.

I purchased the item because I wanted a folio with keyboard for my new iPad Mini 4. Two weeks out and the plastic that encases the iPad mini itself is splitting and cracking around the iPad buttons and speakers. The plastic cover is deteriorating after only having it two weeks. For 120 dollars one would expect a more durable product. At this rate, in two more weeks I am going to have to trash the case. Obviously a lot of work went into the keyboard which seems durable enough, but forget the rest. If you're looking for a product to encase your iPad with some level of protection you might look elsewhere. If I just wanted a bluetooth keyboard, there are less expensive options.

I loved the concept of this product with its LED light and how you can adjust it, but the case itself for the iPad is just disappointment! It starts breaking on every corner and I thought it was just me! I went back to get it replaced and yet again it starts breaking. Later, I find out in reviews that it's not just me who has the issue its others! I returned for my refund.

great keyboard, the magnetic pad holder is great, holds well, the lighted keyboard functions very well, what I dont understand is why they built such a cheap iPad case, but made such a wonderful keyboard... fix the cheap plastic case. and this would be perfect. When i installed ipad in the plastic case, the corner cracked.....Returned it, will wait for an improved version.

I purchased and replaced this keyboard a total of 3 times before I finally just returned the 3rd one. Each and every case cracked around the corners due to being to small for the iPad mini 4. I finally just ordered the Zagg orchid keyboard folio case because I was getting fed up with returning the item. I live 2 hours away from the nearest Best Buy so I had call Customer Service and return through UPS. I have no complaints about Best Buy customer service at all.

Keys repeat. Cursor skips. Hinge broke after a few months.

I Urge you to buy this keyboard. Yes, there mmay be some faulty covers that slip by but the ZAGG customer service is second to none. They replaced mine withour me having to wait in two days. This is being written on my new mini 4 Slim Book. I have an ipad, ipad air2, mini 2 and now a mini 4 Slimbook. It protects and is very light for what it does. BUY IT!

I used their previous version where the iPad slid into the hinge of the keyboard. The problem with that version was that the bottom of the screen was not "reachable" because it was covered by the hinge. So, I purchased this product. At first, it was perfect. Keyboard was improved and the problem with the initial version was addressed by the case for the iPad. The major problem is the case. It is made by a brittle plastic. It does not matter if you drop it or not. Eventually, from just normal use, the corners would crack. Wherever there is a stress point to hold the iPad in, cracks would appear and break apart. I was not able to read the comments when I purchased in October because it was brand new. I would avoid this product until the case is fixed. You cannot use it without the case.

The keyboard is great, but the case is terrible. Split edges, too fragile. Returned one, will return this one as well. Seems like it was rushed to market without being tested.

Design is pretty slick with the removable keyboard but the actual cover that the iPad "simply snaps into" is made from a very brittle (inflexible) plastic and cracked in two places on the first day. Very disappointing given the cost and the manufacturer.
