    I'm on my 3rd set of batteries in the last 48 hours after testing my daughter every 1-2 hours due to her fever.

    Junk. Made super cheap. If $10, would be a great toy for the kids! They could use it over and over and over again every 10 seconds and get a reading variation of 3° each time plus or minus! Spend a little more for a better one. This was promptly returned waste of gas.
