We purchased this unit for multiple reasons: 1) US made, 2) quiet fan mode as well as a mode that moves air out quickly, and 3) sleek design and size. It was a little bit of an unknown to us, since we had never heard of the Zyphyr brand until looking at hood options. After 10 months of usage, the functionality has been great. It has four fan modes and two lighting (dim and bright). The tradeoff of a sleek and simple design is that the controls on the front rim are very small and a little difficult to see. The controls are touch-based rather than mechanical. Occasionally this can be problematic if you have wet fingers, they may not respond. We like the two pull-out fan filters that are light but sturdy and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. The highest fan setting is loud, but definitely gets the air removed from the whole range area. Overall, we are happy with this purchase. BestBuy installers did a great job installing it and were cautious to not harm the tile on the back wall.

This is a terrible unit. Impossible to install - no room for screw heads to fit into mounting brackets, no room for minor adjustments, no solid or positive connection points for exhaust facia covers top or bottom. No method to adjust height of exhaust covers for extension kits, they do not fit together but must be perfectly aligned. Install instructions are not possible to follow - pretty ridiculous.

This range hood has a nice modern design that makes the kitchen look modern and new. It can be loud if you turn it on full blast but it provides strong suction. The buttons are sometimes hard to use if your fingers are wet, so make sure your fingers are completely dry if you want to press the buttons.

Brand new unit. Installed. Works Ultra Quiet. Baffle Filters are great, only if it does not show fault codes. - Got a 00.00 fault code - control board issue - Got a 20.00 fault code - WIFI board issue - Blower making some weird noise - Touch Panel is not quite as sensitive. Perhaps, I got a lemon. Service invoked and they are sending all these parts but think about it - changing basically all the things.

Excellent looks. But air flow not as much. Waiting for my replacement perhaps I just got a faulty unit.

Very powerful suction. Bluetooth control makes it easier to control. Only thing dont like is sound but at lower powers it is ok

Bestbuy does not stand behind their products. 15 day return . Item had scratch and customer service would only transfer your around for 2 hours to talk to people in India.

The WiFi / smart controls simply do not work. Go on your phones app store and look up Zephyr Connect. The reviews indicate the app hasn't worked for months
