    Nice gimbal for vlogging

Pretty good gimbal for the price. I use it with my Canon G7X Mark II. I can't say its as good as the bigger gimbals, it's still shaky (for example like when you're trying to film in the car) it still moves a lot and it shows, but gets the job done for some simple B-roll shots while vlogging. It can be difficult to set up at first, but a few youtube videos and practice will make it a lot easier as time goes on. I've had it for about two weeks now and I like it so far.

Have used in a few situations and works really well (I'm a pro videographer) - the only slightly sad thing is if you need social media portrait footage the options for how it works (pan/follow etc) are limited. Otherwise well recommended. I use with a ZV1 and the supplied cable blocks the audio input so I had to forage for a different USB-C to USB-micro that didn't block it but also didn't foul the crane. Either way, recommended!

This is a multifunction gimble that does most of the functions other gimble has to offer. This unit is large enough to handle most if not all the point and shoot cameras plus your phones. However, it is a bit small to handle any DSLR or Mirrorless camera that has a telephoto lens. As for phones, it is a little too overkill. It is a great unit but I was not able to use it one way or the other. The balancing calibration was a little complicated and so I returned it.

I bought this gimbal to use with my Sony A6000. It works great so far. The video quality/stability has improved 100%. The only issue I have is more with my camera, which I owned prior to purchasing the gimbal. For whatever reason, I cannot easily sync my camera to the gimbal for video controls. This is a software restriction on the camera itself and I learned about that after purchssing. I can sync the gimbal to the camera while in any photo setting. I'm hoping that Sony eventually updates software to allow the gimbal to sync while in video mode. Besides that, this gimbal is great and has a pretty large list of cameras it works with for video controls (just not the A6000 right now) . I might eventually purchase one of the other Sony models that allows syncing in video mode but for now I'll manage to just press the record button on the camera instead of on the gimbal. I think it's definitely a worth while purchase. Also, watch YouTube videos on how to balance you camera on the gimbal. The instructions provided are a little confusing. Once you have it set up though, it is easy to rebalance and gets easier every time you use the gimbal. But, man, I struggled a long time getting that initial balance set.

I dont believe the weight limit

    Posted .

I bought this gimbal to use with a samsung NX500 APS-C camera. With the kit lens, this camera weights just under 1 pound (15.7oz) which is well under the 1.6 pound capacity. I have it perfectly balanced (with the lens out) and motors on high and notice occasional buzzing from it like it is struggling and slowness at times. My footage is much smoother - far from perfect but Ill take it for the size. Upon arrival it was out of level and the calibration was quite an experience that required a youtube video to figure out the positioning. My big issue with it is the android app.. it connects and works for just a fraction of a second then disconnects. I have tried everything but no luck.. Using my other lenses, it seems like 20oz is too much for this gimbal.

    Stable shots with an RX-100

I use the Crane M2 with my RX-100 when walking and shooting video and it does a great job at stabilizing the shots. It took a long while to get the buttons on the Crane to control the camera. The YouTube videos said this was automatic - it is not. Also, the crane will not charge when plugged into my computer USB ports. It only charges when I use an adaptor plugged into the wall. That's odd. I actually returned my first Crane because the battery would not charge. Finally, balancing the camera on the crane was relatively easy and for this task the YouTube videos were a big help.

Great gimbal for my rx100 v. The footage looks great and it’s a nice compact setup. It is a little challenging to get a phone balanced on here because the phone is so skinny.

super easy to setup and is easy to use after a few reps. perfect size for traveling and on the go. still bigger than the remote that came with our ZV-1 but this provides way more stabilization and addtl features.

Overall good Gimbal that I am happy with. Easy to use and software is pretty intuitive. Holds my phone and GoPro cameras very well. Struggles to hold my mirrorless camera. Wish I had opted for larger model.

Nice gimbal but Android app not working well

The gimbal worked well with a mirrorless camera once balanced. However, I ran into two issues. First, balancing is very tricky, especially while mounting a smartphone. Second, I ran into several issues with the app (Android phone).

It is my first Gimbal, and I must say that I am pleased with it. Full of functions. If it is true, there are many better, but also much more expensive, but for what I use it for, it is perfect for me. I can use my mobile phone, my action camera (with the required adapters) and my mirrorless camera. You can't use very heavy cameras, but for that type of equipment, there are other gimbals to consider. Of course I recommend it.

Just got to use the Crane M2 this weekend and I was amazed how easy it was to set it up. I had another brand gimbal but was kind of a nightmare to get it balanced and work right with my smartphone. In no time I was shooting the kids in the backyard playing. The kids had a great time showing off; I had a great time feeling like a cinematographer.

First gimbal I've ever purchased let alone used. I bought it to work with my Sony RX100va and they work perfectly together. For the overall experience, I'd give it 4.5 stars. The most difficult part was trying to balance my camera on the gimbal. The instructions included with the gimbal barely helped and it took watching several different Youtube videos to figure out how to properly balance the setup. Once that was done, it was smooth sailing. The gimbal worked as well as I expected if not better. All the features worked flawlessly with the one condition that the camera MUST be balanced properly. If the camera is not balanced, then you will run into issues like I did. On their website, there is a list of compatible cameras that work with this gimbal along with what features are available. Before purchasing, I would double-check their website first to make sure all the features you want is available for your camera.

It took me a while to figure out how to work this thing, but that's mostly because it took me a while to read the directions. This stabilizer is great for recording steady video, as well as just a nice handle for a camera without a particularly good one. It's got different balance modes so it's likely that you'll be able to find one that's right for you. One star off since it doesn't appear to be able to handle anything larger than your average DSLR with a standard lens

I bought this to use with my Lumix GX85 setup to shoot montage clips and I LOVE IT! It works extremely well with the LUMIX system, including the app. I also found that it can work with a Canon EOS Rebel SL3 setup with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. Works well for stabilized clips at a fraction of the cost of some of the more professional rigs. 5/5 recommend for beginners/prosumer use.

Wish I would have got the newer version, but it meets my needs. Fun to play with. Don't use it as much as I should. Works great with my dji osmo action, haven't tried my sony zv-e10 yet on it. Works alright with my note 9, but not best experience with app. Haven't tried it on my S22 ultra yet. Definitely takes some practice to learn to balance it. If you need/want a gimbal I would recommend one of the newer versions.
