Bought it for my son, he put it in his race car to video as he goes around race track. This gimbal is pretty good and does exactly what it advertises

I actually swapped to this unit from a DJI osmo mobile 2. This smooth Q is just as stable in my opinion and I was able to get it on sale $60 cheaper than the DJI

I had high hopes for this gimbal, but unfortunately, it failed to meet all expectations. If you have a smartphone that is perhaps less than 5.5 inches in diagonal screen size, this gimbal would be perfect. However, if you have said size or larger, look for another product that will support that weight. An IPhone X though works perfectly even with a case, but that is the only exception since it is narrower than the 6 plus lengthwise. I am currently using an IPhone 6 plus, with a standard case(spigen). The instructions says to make sure it balances before turning on the unit. The iPhone 6 plus with a case barely balances the gimbal. The extendable arm does not go far enough to counter the weight of the phone at the camera end. Now the gimbal will still work, but it is using all that power to keep your phone balanced. The supposed 12hr battery life will most likely be cut in half or more. I also used this gimbal with a moment case + lens. It was not balanced at all since the lens just overpowered the counter weight. I still turned it on and it balanced at first, but gradual movements will make it fall. If anything is beyond what the counterweight can handle, the motors overheat and becomes too hot to the touch. Two things could have improved this product. 1. A longer extendable arm or at least be able to swap it with another longer arm. 2. A detachable counterweight design to be able to match the weight at the other end no matter what screen size or weight you have. Again, I used an IPhone 6 plus with a spigen case and it barely balanced. It works fine without a case, but it is simply such an inconvenience having to put my case again and again after I take it off from the gimbal. Iphone X works perfectly though, but I do not have this phone so I returned the unit. I will also be upgrading to the much larger Iphone in 2018 so this gimbal simply would not have supported the weight.

This product is amazing! To start you need to download the app but once you get the app downloaded and the stab calibrated its smooth sailing and amazing!

This has been great so far. I only wish it did a full 360 in all directions. Other than that minor issue, it has made my videos very smooth and stable.

Seamless transitions and next level production. It took my shots for the music video I was making to a whole new level. I couldn’t believe the way it could make an iPhone look like a professional DSLR quality cam. Just from this one tool, I was able to achieve the type of shots I’ve been striving for for years. Definitely worth the money. Just bite the bullet and get it.

There are better items out there in the market, but for the price point, can't really beat it, especially during Black Friday specials. Does everything it states and is so much better than just shooting video and pics with you hand. Stabilization is so much better. Enjoy to all who get this who are on a budget and can't afford the expensive stuff, which I do not know is worth it for the price point.

Took this gimbal/stabilizer with me on a trip to Hawaii..It really helped me capture our trip on video with no shakiness of the camera! The product itself is amazing, highly recommended. Probably the best gimbal out there for your smartphone. I paired this with my iPhone X's 4K Video capabilities, amazing shots.

Make pro quality video, smooth movement and easy to use

It's a good stabilizer but sometimes it can be difficult to set up. But once you have it set up, it actually works very well.
