This gimbal has worked great with my GoPro and Cellphone. Since this is a universal product and isn’t engineered for one particular device, there is a little bit of time you’ll have to put into getting it to function properly. I have a iPhone 8 Plus and needed to take my phone out of the case to balance properly. There are counter balancing weights on the market that can be picked up to assist in balancing. While this device was not specifically designed for a GoPro, there are several adapters available that will allow its use with this gimbal as well. I have been very happy with my Smooth Q.

If you are looking to step up your filming game and having footage that looks super professional, this is the product. So many features and bells and whistles. This is a must have if you want much more from your footage.

If you are a hobbyist and dont want to spend a lot on your stabilizer this product is the best fit. Nonetheless the product is no less to any of the other high priced phone stabilizers. Have fun shooting.

It is user friendly. And made good videos! My 3 kids are always competing for Jiu Jitsu pretty much every other month and all their videos are shaking and now that we discovered this stabilizer... wow n wow!

I am a videographer that works on creating video content for musicians. This stabilizer is amazing - very easy to use & provides amazing camera movement for all types of shots. My favorite functionality of this product is the Tracking feature via the App which allows you to keep focus on a moving object

I could this one sale and it's a great value. This is one of the top rated cell phone gimbals on the market. There is a small learning curve but it a lot of features. Make sure you correctly balance whatever cell phone you use. A unbalanced phone can overheat the motors and shut down the unit.

I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loved it. He said it's very easy to work with and it helped him record his video so much faster with less editing.

This gimbal delivers as expected. Lots of positive reviews online. This is night and day from shooting hand held. Worth the purchase. My only complaint would be that the battery is not user servicable. It would be nice to be able to carry additional batteries in case you forgot to charge the one in the unit.

I purchased this to film my kids party and I was surprised that it made simple videos look like it was professionally filmed. It's a little tricky to set up but after first set up it is easy to use.

Really great quality for the price you’re paying. I purchased to shoot my friends surprise proposal and it worked phenomenally! Works great, wouldn’t recommend using the app for it but the basic camera/ video app on your phone Works just fine with it.

Purchased this to create social media content. Love the smooth recordings and how intuitive the controls are.... didn't take long for it to feel natural in my hand.

Got this to use over the holidays and very impressed by the build and quality. Light and easy to use would definitely recommend for first time gimbal users. Face track also a great feature too.

Great gimbal to it’s price although Zhiyun Play app is not that good for now but who knows for the improvements later on. It works on my iPhone 7plus and gopro hero 5 without attachments at all.

Although the gimbal game has been evolving fast and ferociously, this is still a great addition to the mobile recording game when needed. Definitely has dropped in the price so make sure you know when to purchase and do your research. Overall, great battery work and does exactly the job

I use this gimbal with my galaxy s9+ and works flawlessly, and with hack found online about how to mount a action camera such as a go pro it works with it aswell. Video are super smooth.

We used this in the Bahamas a few weeks ago around the resort with our iPhone 7 plus. Using this with your phone gives a steady, movie like video. Very easy to set up and use.

I use this stabilizer with my IPhone XSMax Running Filmic Pro w/ Remote. I had to use 30 cents taped to the Gimbal in order to get the Gimbal to balance, but that was the only glitch with this setup. For the price, I don't believe I could have done any better. I have an anamorphic lens on order which requires me to use a proprietary phone case to which the lens attaches. When I have had a chance to use this new lens/case with the Smooth Q, I will do a follow-up review.

Feels like good quality plastic. It works with the samsung galaxy s9+ but without a case on and balancer needs to be pulled all the way to balance the phone. It will have a slight tilt but thats fine. Overall, fun and great product with the Galaxy S9+ and its video quality!

Not the best for the iPhone Plus. Must remove phone from the case. I went with the new smooth-4 instead. Much more precise adjustments and has a more powerful motor, better for the plus. If you require the phone to Charge on long shoots you may have issues with the 3 and the 4... they need to bore out a hole big enough for the charging cable. When you plug the cable in it pushes the phone out and makes the center off to the point it loses functionality and kills the battery faster because it’s trying to compensate for the added weight/pressure.

Priced higher than anticipated but overall good build, can be a little clunky with the software and phone connection and not the best with larger phones, iPhone X is fine, nothing bigger or otherwise it’s a little harder to operate
