It still works and it had been the best kitchen equipment I purchased. The rice cooker seems simple to use, even a gen z teenage can use to cook. I got it from my daughters college apartment. She loves it!

I leave everything ready at night and have great Oatmeal ready in the morning! It's extremally easy to clean.

We typically combine one cup of Japanese short grain rice with one cup of sweet brown rice and fill the cooker to just below the 2 cup marker. Texture is perfect!

The only problem I have is the power cord that attaches to the rice cooker falls off too easily when it gets pushed a little when I place it back into the drawer or if I accidentally knock it.
