The only one that I would say is better than this one is this same rice cooker but the IH version. You will not regret this purchase!

This is not the Zojirushi rice cooker that is made in Japan. I bought this rice cooker March 4, 2024. Used it 3 times. April 2, it began giving me a H 20 error. I researched and learned that the error means the top of the cooker is over heating and that I needed to wait for the cooker to resume. 10 minutes later I look at the machine and it is in the "off" setting. I pressed the setting for brown rice and it started over, 110 minutes to cook completion. My dinner was nearly done and the rice restarted and wouldn't be done for over an hour and half thereafter. Best Buy only gives a 15 day warranty, so I was beyond the window of return. I was given the option to contact the manufacturer but any item that needs repair after 3 uses seems to be defective from the start. If given another chance I would go with a different rice maker. One made in Japan and that is true to the Zojirushi brand and quality.

Zojirushi is well known rice cooker brand in Japan and we always stick with them. Worth every penny. It does amazing job making tasty rice!! We use it EVERYDAY!!!
