BEST PURCHASE PF THE YEAR, makes the cutest sound effects when starting and when rice is finished

Love this. My original rice cooker was getting old and is bulky but this new one is great, makes a chime when starting and when rice is done cooking. The rice tin comes with water levels which is super helpful. Tip: do quick cooking option for less time and it’s equally as good, especially for brown rice.

Rice gets cooked consistently. This is very easy to use just follow the directions. The features are nice but I don’t really use them. I end up using 1-2 settings at most. Easy to clean Does not occupy a lot of counter space Good for up to 5 cups of rice

We've been using this rice cooker for almost 2 years now. It makes our regular jasmine rice fluffy and the cooked rice stays fresh the whole day. It makes a sound when rice is cooked. The pan is good quality because even after 2 years, I don't see any scratches on it compared to our old rice cooker.

We are very satisfied with this rice cooker. It makes great tasting rice every time. Even re-heated (microwaved) rice that was made by this rice cooker tastes great! While we haven't tested all the features, the rice cooker has been super easy to use, i.e. the button panel is intuitive and simple.

Love yhis. Takes a little longer than the other rice cookers but rice if fluffier. I like it a lot.

The Zojirushi Micom 5.5 cup rice cooker is one of my favorite kitchen appliances! The convenience of consistently cooking rice, oatmeal/porridge, tapioca pudding, and grits means I use this gem several times a week. I appreciate the "keep warm" default, as that allows me to "forget" that the rice maker is doing its job. I return any time after the cooking is complete. Cheesecake made with the recipe that comes with the cooker is delicious! Clean-up and storage are easy. Measuring cups and the power cord fit neatly inside the cooking bowl for storage; we keep the rice paddle in our regular kitchen tool drawer. I like the Zojirushi so much that I gifted one to my brother. In one week's use, he cooked 4 types of rice and made 2 batches of tapioca pudding. (When making tapioca, I use the "porridge" setting, stirring a little as the mixture heats and then only periodically as it cooks. Compare this to the recommended stove-top directions: "stir consistently for 20 minutes." Since my brother and I are tapioca fans, the ability to make tapioca easily is a win-win for us two!!!) I use this rice cooker to reheat cooked grits when making shrimp and grits, cooking the shrimp in a separate pan with green onions and chicken broth, then combining afterwards as I serve plates. I've had this rice cooker for over 12 years. We are downsizing; the Zojirushi Microm 5.5 cup rice cooker is a kitchen item I plan to keep through our upcoming move! I highly recommend this rice cooker for ease of use , the variety of ways it can cook, consistent cooking, and reliability

Easy to use rice cooker. I like the melodies that it plays when it starts and ends cooking. Great brown rice button feature, cause cooking brown rice could be tricky without a rice cooker. The time is always displayed.

Love this machine! Has a sensor so the rice is never overcooked. I just set it and walk away. Takes a little longer than other machines, but it's worth it.

Easy to use and cooks perfect brown rice (main reason of the purchase). The only drawback, it take 1 hour and 40 mins. to do 4 cups. Even with that, luv the purchase and not hesitant to recommend it to anyone for brown rice lovers.

Rice cooker but supped up lol. Easy rice cooker to use and setting it up was easy.

This makes cooking rice the easiest task in a kitchen. Comes with full instructions and will handle just about anything you can throw at it. I love it and highly recommend!

I didn't realize how under a rock I was living without this rice cooker! It's expensive but this was last you quite literally, forever!

Makes some of the best rice. Only dig I would put with this is that it takes far too long to cook the rice.

Great rice cooker.. cook a little bit longer compare to regular rice cooker, but it is fabulous. IBut it doesn't have steamer option and the heating plate is easily stain (because of heat).
