I bought this item for my father-in-law and he loves it! They live in a rural area where there isn't any cable internet service it is all dial-up after convincing him to get a new laptop he is thrilled with the flexibility it gives him.

ZOOM HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD PROCUCT AND THEY DID NOT FAIL TO DELIVER ON THIS ONE.

This USB external modem does not require an electrical outlet. It is small and does not take up any desk space.

I needed a fast & easy fax solution and this works perfectly!

Got this at advice of sales associate when I purchased Windows 10 laptop. Does not work with W10, which was later confirmed by Geek Squad and product helpline. Best Buy good for return. I did not like the hassle of wasted effort.

Spent several (and I do mean SEVERAL) hours online trying to order the device. This includes trying to order it by myself as welil as calling customer service to get assistance. They tried for nearly 2 hours to submit my order but to no avail. Finally, was told to disconnect and they would call me back in 15 minutes. That call never came. The next day I contacted a BB. store and they had 2 devices in stock but had to search for them because they aren't used that much now because the majority of people have shifted from dial up service. I asked if I was eligible for a discount due to the 4 + hours I wasted on BB's website that didn't yield ordering a product. I was told I could NOT get a discount

It works great, easy to use and the price is very good.

Installed with a breeze and worked great with older software.

I was looking for an Internal unit, but the New Desktops do not have the slots, that the older units had. But it is Great for the Portability that is associated with Laptops, Notebooks ans and device that still has a USB port.

I live in a rural area and until I can find a reasonably priced service provider I am using the ole, slow dial up system. Since new computers do not have modems installed, I purchased this one. So far it's doing the job without any problems.

Good price for a usb modem and functions well. Rather have this than take up space in desktop and can still use with any computer with usb.

It is a great external fax modem for a small business and it was very easy to install. I recommend to everyone.

The modem works well most of the time. When it doesn't, I think it may be my computer. I would recommend it to other customers.

Did not work as well as I thought it would. Dissatisfied with this product.

Ran the install disc, plugged it in, sent a fax with Windows fax. Couldn't be simpler! It is a fax modem, nothing high speed about it, but if you need to fax something, it works just fine.

I have purchased two USB Zoom modems. This is a backup to my original Zoom. I use this zoom to send data over the phone lines. It works very well and is reliable. Have used a Zoom modem for three years without problems.

Due to my area, if I want to keep my current internet; which I do, I still have to use dial up on my lap top. So far so good.

I had dial up internet and this enabled me to eliminate a phone line and still be on the internet and the modem would notify me when I had a call coming in,

It was easy to install, but lacked in performance. I would take it back if it wasn't over the return time. Had to reboot the computer many times when trying to use the device.
