Works great & you don't have to be tech savy to install.

To be honest with you, I found this dial-up modem to be slower than a U.S.Robotics dial-up modem. I tried both to see which is better. Pages loaded quicker with the U.S.Robotics modem. Both are the same price! U.S.Robotics modems will work with Windows XP or Windows 7. You will have to download the driver for it to work with Windows 7, but this was simple to do and install. I installed it myself, and I'm no computer-whiz! Try a U.S.Robotics modem and you will see it has better performance!

This did not work well for me, however, it may have been the slowness of the phone lines (46.5 kbps) or trying to go into Earthlink. I gave up the last five days of my trip and didn't bother tring to be totally frustrated.

I needed to connect to dial-up and this does the trick.

After about a month About 1/2 of the faxes would never recieve so I had to replace it. I never used it as a Data modem however.

I guess if you are stuck using dial up then this is a great product. Nothing wrong with the product just so much wrong with dial up.

no drivers for 2008 server.. will not install properly on DELL T310 server but it did install OK on an older DELL 2900. AND DELL T410 so, go figure?

This is strictly a dial up modem. It has no telephone capability. My previous modems would function with various software programs for telephone dialing. This does not. Zoom support very slow but to the point. "This device will not do what you want it to do."

Needed a modem quick and simple, found it on the web as available but the store personell were unable to locate it for a couple hours. That was a couple hours WASTED! This modem is flaky in operation, does not play well with Vista Ultimate, will not install without the CD (a total pain when you have multiple machines), refuses to utilize an assigned comm port and grabs a new one each time you plug it in, is unstable over 2400 Baud and is of no true value whatsoever considering the rather steep price.
