I use this to record audio for multiple video production applications. I've used the microphones built in and attached external microphones. Both work great and it makes my audio recording supper easy!

This H4N PRO Handy Recorder is amazing. I recommend to anyone into videography business. It saves time and backup your audio files. It worth the price.

FIlmed my first concert with this this attached to my camera and I absolutely love the audio quality it produces. I do recommend doing some research first to figure out what format etc. you want to record in. If I had one complaint, it’s that the volume buttons are too “plasticky” and “clicky” and it somewhat detracts from the build quality for me. Not a huge deal but something to keep in mind.

The Zoom recorder is such a great product! I really like how it has so many options, but are easy to use and understand. This was honestly my first Zoom product that I bought, and I bought it because I needed it to record wireless audio because my camera doesn't have a microphone input. Which this did an awesome job of, and I even use my xlr mic to record as well. Which both options work great!

This Zoom recorder made quality home of music home-produced possible. It allowed our musicians to work together from a distance when it was not possible to be in the same room. It has continued to be be helpful even though joint practice sessions are now possible.

I needed a simple microphone for various projects I was working on, this bad boy is simple to us but the quality is amazing! Goes through batteries pretty quickly but other than that amazing!

This is the best sound recorder I've ever owned. However, it is much more capable than I am. Still, I am using it to collect sound effects for videos, and it is ideal.

Good option if you are using it to record instruments or in a studio setting. If you are looking to use this as a field recorder to record ambient noises, it needs a dead cat to be usable as it’s very sensitive and even moving the recorder with your hand will cause it to rumble.
