Awesome multi use audio recorder. I mainly set up as an external mic for my a6600 or as a sound card when livestreaming dj sets on IG or Twitch. Would recommend for the price. Has the ability to be USB or battery powered for extended use.

DI recommended this product over the less expensive ones but at the bottom of the upper line models. It's perfect for my use of nursing school. The sound is great, not too difficult to use and the microSD card is a must.

We were filming a last minute car scene with iPhones and needed some sort of audio. Our audio person couldn’t fit in the car with the cast so we did some research and thought this would work. It worked great and sounded like professional quality when we put it in the cut.

Our company use these recorders to help record (with a lav mic) the grooms audio during wedding ceremonies. Plus it can be used as a stereo mic to record anything. Including wedding Djs and string quartets. Lot of bang for the dollar!

I paired this recorder with my rode videomic pro and I think it’s fair to say you really don’t NEED a microphone with this thing but it doesn’t hurt.

This is my backup recorder because it is too big to comfortably fit in my shirt pocket (I use a Sony PX 470 now - which is easier to use and defaults to MP3 which I want). Default setup is not as useful for me. However, the sound and features are excellent.

I just bought this, and I suppose maybe it's made for more creative endeavors like folks who record music and then use fancy-schmancy stuff to clean the recordings up. Meanwhile, I ordered it as an alternative to using the recorder on my cell to do a bunch of focus groups. So far, based on the first two recordings, the recorder picks up more background noise than anything -- which I'm hoping can be muffled with the wind reduction item I just bought (but picking up background noise over voices indoors is not quite the same). I'm a bit surprised this is happening and haven't yet found a solution online, such as perhaps altering the sensitivity? Or, a dumb-person's guide to editing without hundreds of dollars of software? We shall see. For now, let's say it's average, when it may be anywhere from a lemon to something amazing IF you have the right supplementary software and skills.

Used on my GoPro that has Media Mod. Sounds better than the media mod recording. I sync the video & sound using Da Vinci during post production.

This is one of my go-to audio devices when I record someone with a lavalier and I'm recording with my mirrorless camera for my projects. I combined it with the Insignia Lapel microphone. Perfect sound in my opinion.

It works like it's supposed to. I use it with a lavalier microphone and put it in my pocket for use in videos. Great recorder and the updated version from the original H1. At least it is worth it for the price I got it at.

This portable microphone works very well for video production. Sync the audio files with the video recording in your video editing software with ease. Sound quality is very good.

This is really great and versatile. The sound quality is phenomenal when used and setup properly. It's built with plastic but it's expected at its pricepoint.
