    Amazing quality out of the box, some things might be necessary to improve quality of sound such as a wind muff or screen, very low cost investment to get amazing sound quality.

    I just had my video editing done & realized that the audio is really good from H1N far better from my camera microphone.

    The zoom worked well for general recording. You need some cover if you want to use it outside or anywhere where there is wind. My biggest concern was that the device feels very cheap and I felt like I was going to break it every time I used it because of the complete plastic construction of the body. I wish it was build better in which case I would probably give it a 4 or 5 star.

    I got this to record the audio for a short interview style video, filmed in a controlled environment and this definitely did the job. Great quality though I know there's better out there.
