Being an avid podcaster, I am tempted to write a negative review just to steer away competition. But this recorded is absolutely amazing! The price is reasonable and it’s capabilities when considering it’s portable are outstanding. I would recommend for any new podcasters or anyone looking to upgrade their equipment.

Just like everyone else in the world i started a podcast. This machine is great. It has great sound, 4 mic inputs, 4 headphone jacks and its even able to do phone interviews. I would definitely recommend this device

This is a great recorder and audio interface for connecting multiple devices. I love that I can connect a phone to record remote conversations. Wish I had purchased a little later after the price drop.

I wanted to love it but having been around audio and music, I know what background noise and gain noise is. All the features are pretty handy, the 4 mics and 4 headphones each with gain control. The call in features for phone convo and the 4.8v for condenser mics, makes this a punch packer. But the noise!!! I tried different mics, the SM58 and the Marantz Pro MPM1000 condenser mic and still noise. I thought it was a grounding issue. I tried plugging it in using a battery pack, noise. Tried using the batteries, noise. I tried power from my laptop, noise. I bought this because of the features and its portability. Looking at YouTube videos showcasing it, had no noise. I thought I was doing something wrong. I thought I had a defective product until I read an Amazon review stating the same thing. I loved it before I saw it, my audio instructor also loved it before he saw it. But the noise drowned our happiness. I'm not returning it. I found it was less noisy as an interface. I'll still use it but the post production is going to be hectic. BEWARE OF THE NOISE!!!

I’ve been in pro audio for many years. I have plenty of gear that I use for various applications and when I saw this come up as available I went and grabbed one to see if it’s hold up to the hype. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for a low cost podcasting interface then this will get you where you need to be. The mic pres can drive my gain hungry SM7b microphones with the +70db of gain. Very easy to use. With the screen was bigger but overall this is a fantastic unit. Just a heads up, it doesn’t come with a dc wall power adapter. I power mine via the usb-c connection but it’s a low cost addition.

This changed how I record audio. It is so easy to use and the sound quality is amazing. I paired it with some cheap amazon basics XLR mics and am so impressed.

Very good unit if you want to get started with Podcasting with solid mic preamps. I took one star off because of the poor Headphone amplifiers that causes a great deal of hissing. Note the hissing is not apparent in the recorded output. Highly recommend you purchase the Zoom Podcast kit that includes a microphone, headphones and a mic stand (rather useless) for $99 as a bundled item purchase. The microphone is on par with my Rode Podmic. In fact, for my voice that is more on the deeper side the Zoom ZM1 Podmic sounds better as it is tuned for lower to mid frequencies versus mid to high that you find on the Rode Podmic. Best Buy delivered in one day...thank you.

This is an amazing product that has transformed our podcasts!! Its worth way more that its cost! Great sound, easy to work with and portable!

Good little device for podcast recording. Takes a little to get everything set up but that isn't hard to do. good sound quality and portable. Only wish it came with a case or had a case for it.

Easy to use, amazing audio quality (if you know how to mute the channels and headphone inputs you’re not using) - awesome little device that you can travel with, amazing versatility (plug in your computer, use as a standalone interface, plug into the wall with AC adapter) - auto limiter and lo-cut filter for rumbles! Also works great for telework — Just wish this thing was made of metal, but getting the insurance plan might help with the longevity piece. Hoping they add the 24bit/48khz for easy video editing soon

I am very happy with my purchase. As a new podcaster the Zoom P4 is very easy to use and has excellent sound quality.

Works great. Easy to figure out but just wish it came with a ac adapter instead of just batteries. The batteries tun out quick. Mic is pretty good quality nice and heavy.

In producing my daily dose of Darryl YouTube segment each day this item has proved the very helpful in mixing together various inputs and also adding some sound effects and music so I would recommend it highly to anyone as it is simple to operate and quite portable

This is a genius product. I host a weekly podcast. Sometime my co-host and I are recording via Zoom. But, sometimes we're in the same room together. The PodTrak P4 is perfect for times like that. Grab a few XLR mics and your P4 and you've got everything you need to record a high quality podcast!

This Zoom Podtrack P4 is the best hardware I got yet. I was looking for something to record people with quality for podcasting, and to beable to work with phone calls / zoom calls. I was told about it from a friend that has one, and he talked me into getting mine. It's a game changer. It's easy to setup, easy to use, and best of all it's portable. I might even think about the P6, or P8 next.
