Functional and compact - poor gain control

Overall it delivers what it's supposed to do. It merges computer audio, cell phone audio and microphone audio together well and everything works. Headphone jack output seems a bit distorted at times, so not that great for monitoring, but recordings are fine. I don't like that you can't really tell where the peaks are when you set the gain levels. No color coding (green, yellow, red). No db gain level numbers. Example: -12 is usually where you want to have your gain hover around. Compact design, but gain control and headphone amp quality needs improvement.

10% price hike -- no longer recommending

But now it's 10% more expensive -- an unjustified ripoff -- and may not be as good of a deal. The quiet 10% price hike is enough to say that Best Buy really isn't on your side. Battery life: eats them like candy
