P4 Failure

It drains batteries pretty quickly and when it dies the audio is not always saved. This item kept dying off on me and my audio was lost each time. It works better on a full charge but I believe its not worth the money. I would save my money and upgrade to either a Podtrak P8 or H6 if you wanna remain within the Zoom family.

Great simple machine for podcasts

Recording is excellent, build is trash!

The only issue I have with it is that it feels very cheaply made. everything from the knobs to the shell feel like they will break in a very short period of time. I also have a portable Tascam that has seen some abuse and that is far more robust and has lasted me years. TBH I'm probably returning this thing today. The recording aspects and quality of it however, excellent, but I know I will break this thing in no time.
