Previously, I was using a BLU Vivo 5R and my _only_ gripe with that phone is the lack of NFC (Even my '12 Nokia Lumia 920 had NFC) ; great quality, responsive phone but was lacking that (IMO) standard feature for a phone on the market in mid-late 2016 - early-mid 2017. The Axon 7 mini is just (if not more) responsive and includes NFC [I 2x/3x/4x checked ;)]. I have no gripes with it after a solid week of use and converting stuff like Keepass2Android and OpenKeychain over to it. Even able to use a Yubikey NEO to supply "One-Time Passwords" for KeePass unlocking. Also includes a pedometer, which was unexpected but "neat" :) Updated on the day I purchased it to Android 7.1.1 and has been a welcome change since I picked it up. I can see how people might have problems w/ the battery (it's not a big battery) ; this isn't a phone you'd sit in an airport w/ nothing to do for 6 hours and expect to not charge it. But it's certainly a phone you can take to work and chat (I use Allo) w/ your wife throughout the day while doing your job. It's perfect for light - moderate use and easily makes it through the day for me w/ little to NO drainage overnight. This is the 2nd ZTE device I've owned, the 1st was a 7" tablet I picked up from Sprint back in '12-'13 -- that device was also fantastic and a great quality device, only gripe w/ it was the lack of 4G [LTE], but that was more timing than ZTE's fault.

I bought this phone for my wife as an Xmas present and she loves it. She's always raving how long she can go between charges and the speed and responsiveness of the 7 mini is very impressive for the cost of the device. I have recommended this phone along with the bigger Axon 7, those that went out and bought them can't get over the fact that these phones are so reasonable in price and pack such a punch.

Nice phone with great features but the battery life is very bad. Any use at all and you'll find yourself charging twice a day. Otherwise, a great "beater" phone.

I am highly satisfied with everything about this phone, but the battery is seriously disappointing. Plan on carrying juice if you are going to be away from an outlet. Overall, I would still recommend it as a good value for the price.

This is a good Mid Spec phone. Doesn't read 5Gz wifi. Does have expandable storage. And has a good price. The apps that ZTE puts on is slightly annoying. Like the mail and browser.

I bought this on closeout for $99 & it is a great looking phone with okay specs. The price made this a really good deal. The phone is beautiful and it performs as well as a $150-$200 phone but battery life is only so-so.

This phone is worth it for $199.99 but not $299.99. There are better choices in the $299.99 price range but on sale it is a great value and choice. The screen is pretty good, the speakers are as good if not better than the Axon 7s!

This is a great phone for the money - speedy, no issues except slightly short battery life but I still have over 50% by 7pm. Quick charger will get 100% charge from empty in 1 hour. Great stereo speakers with Dolby sound, Android 6.0, very slim and comes with a clear silicone type case. Bought on sale for 199.00 Excellent phone for the money. Camera is good but not excellent.

The screen is ample at 5.2". I'm used to 5.5 - 5.7" but this isn't distractingly smaller. 3 gigs of RAM and a 617 processor make it snappy but not flagship-fast. NFC at this price is a nice plus. Only knock is no 5 GHz wifi.

The phone is great for kids and older people who don't have much use for complex tasks but still want the flair of having a touch screen phone. The sound and the photo quality of this phone is comparable to that of its competitors like Samsung and the only thing of concern is the processing capability of this phone and other than that this phone is a great value.

Phone is well built and solid with a nice display that is very bright. Unfortunately the phone slows down frequently and lags using apps. I purchased on sale for $199 so overall was a great deal on a solid phone.

Nice unlocked GSM phone for the price. Fast performance and nice features. Screen is bright and crisp. One good surprise is the box comes with a clear plastic case. I used the phone on T-Mobile without any issues.

Purchased this for my son who is entering high school. Reaaly happy with the siz and features. A con would be that the battery drains a bit too fast. Would recommend to someone looking for a budget Android phone.

This phone has dual sim can be used for micro SD or another SIM card and have 2 lines. Very awesome. The Only draw back is it can be used with GSM networks only no cdma like Verizon or sprint unlike the Motorola
