My wife has difficulty hearing and we got a larger version of this speaker (ZVOX SB400) for our main TV a year ago. That one was a great improvement over our previous conventional sound bar and my wife was very happy with it. I am also as that version has very good bass. This one does not have as good bass but is otherwise the same sound as our first one. We got this one to go with a new bedroom TV which she mostly uses to have running as she goes to sleep. Thankfully, she puts the TV on sleep timer and both the TV and the sound bar go off on the TV timer. I did have to call customer service to get the sound bar to respond properly to the Comcast and the RCA Universal remotes we use with our bedroom TV system but they were quick to answer and very helpful. There are a lot of options in the sound bar setup and some are not obvious so they want you to call them for guidance on the less obvious situations. Also, there is good product specific guidance and help on their website. I would highly recommend both of these.

I purchased this speaker because I was having difficulty trouble clearly hearing conversation on my flat screen TV. I also needed a speaker that was compact so that I could place it in a slot in my entertainment center. This speaker has resolved my hearing issues and it fits perfectly in my entertainment center. It’s an awesome speaker.

I bought the product as an “open box in satisfactory condition “. It was supposed to have all the necessary parts. It didn’t have a power cord, optical connection cable to tv or remote control. There are no controls on the speaker. All controls are done with remote. I purchased remote from manufacturer. I had geek warranty. It NEVER worked. I returned it. I will never buy an open box product again.

Love this sound booster. I am hearing impaired so background music in movies frequently frowns out the dialogue before I bought the sound bar. Now I’m able to boost the sound of the voices without increasing the background noise. Love it!

This soundbar is nice and compact. The vocal clarity is incredible, really makes watching TV & movies much easier. There does seeem to be a small audio delay that puts the soundbar just a second behind the video. Also, I can’t get the soundbar to respond to my TV remote, I have to use the remote that comes with it which is kind of annoying.

For a modestly priced sound bar it gives the entire experience of watching almost anytime more enjoyable. Over the years, I’ve had everything from Sony Surround Sound to many more expensive sound bars and woofers that were not much better.

A GREAT Sound bar. I’m a little hard of hearing and the voices are very clear.It’s our second purchase of the same one-we LOVE it!!!

This product is a big improvement over the TV speakers for hearing the dialog.

We bought this sound bar because we have difficulty hearing what people are saying in television shows, particularly when there is music playing too loudly in the background or their voices are soft. So far, the articulation of the actors is clearer, but we have been frustrated with the sound going out two days in a row while we were watching TV. The last time it happened, I fiddled with both the remote for the TV and the Zvox remote, and it finally started working. We don't know if it is a smart TV issue or a Zvox issue.

I have some difficulty hearing some conversations on tv and have tried other soundbars to no avail. When I tried the Accuvoice sound bar I immediately noticed a difference in voice clarity, I would absolutely recommend the Accuvoice for those who have trouble understanding conversation

Clear and sharp. I teach zoom music lessons. I attached this to my 65” 4K TV monitor and it’s like the student is in the room. Not just louder but clearer sound - as good as it gets in Zoom anyway.

My husband has a hard time hearing, especially voices on TV, This soundbar helps him hear the voices of announcers over the crowds during football games.

I am very very happy with this speaker I have tried countless other speakers but this one really helps I am 72 years of age.If you have hearing challengers I suggest trying this.

Very good inexpensive sound bar, gave it as a gift and works great, the owner loves it cause she can clearly hear the tv now and sounds she didn’t before

I was looking for something for the hard of hearing, but this sound bar works so great I don't need to use those settings.

I like the sound box. But, it does not have the full sound effect. It lacks a woofer, thus the absence of a good bass.

This sound bars has improved the quality of all voices & background programs. I am very pleased with this upgrade and increase of sound quality.

This really helps with distinguishing dialogue from background noise when watching tv. Modern TVs have sacrificed much in terms of sound quality and this soundbar is a reasonably priced solution.

This is a true blessing for people with hearing aids that are use to have to have the volume up real loud to hear a TV program. Great product!

It does help with dialogue, but at the expense to overall sound. This is really meant for those truly hard of hearing and desperate to hear dialogue over other sounds. Very tinny with virtually no bass. Get the bigger version if you plan on using it anywhere but a bedroom, just not enough power for a large room. Not real surprised at the results, just needed to try it based on the mostly good reviews. Doubt that anything but high end systems will work well with hollywoods current emphasis on surround sounds and needless music in every freeking scene.
