The in-built speakers from my TV just weren't making it. My wife has a hearing loss so had to have it all the way up. I switched to hook it into my hi-fi system with 5 speakers and louder sound. But that took up space. The ZVOX SB500 has now replaced that as a single more compact unit. Easy to set up and the AccuVoice can help with improving speech in noisy (background) movies.

Moved my TV and could no longer use my wired sound sound system. This sound bar produces good mids and clear dialogue but doesn't produce the deep base I was used to. Fortunately, it has a connection for a sub-woofer that you supply. When connected to my sub-woofer, this system provides decent sound at a reasonable cost.

It was easy to hook up,it has a lot of options, and great sounding

I purchased a Zvox soundbase sound system a few years ago and was happy with it. We were in the market for a sound bar and when I saw that the Zvox sound bar was on sale I jumped at the chance to purchase it. We are very happy with the system. You get big sound out of a somewhat compact unit. It is also very easy to install.

Accuvoice is amazing, and there is enough bass without and added subwoofer

Overall very happy. Fair price and good quality. Just wish it was a bit smaller.

Great sounding speakers & look's great under the 65" TV

The sound quality is amazing. Highs and lows are the best.

We purchased this soundbar as a part of the upgrade to our TV system. The soundbar was the best surprise of the upgrade. The quality of sound is excellent in all range of sound. We enjoy being able to move background sounds back and dialogue forward as appropriate to the program being watched.

Didn’t work out because the Zvox soundbar wasn’t something I’m used to. Sound was good but didn’t have the lows bass that I needed. Overall like the rep said, it was more for enhance voice.

Zvox has great sound and voice clarity for a little speaker.

The audio of this soundbar comes out crisp and clear! Bass is good for being internal unit, has an output if you need more. I'm actually using this as a desktop soundbar, which sits under my vesa mounted monitor.

We bought this to improve 'speaking' on our TV as it was often difficult to understand what was being said. This solved the problem. However, I'm disappointed in how it connects to and hangs from the TV.

I love the sound of the ZVOX sound bar. I have noticed that I can understand the words better without having to turn the volume up. The managers at Best Buy took great care of me after a few shipping issues.

I have hearing aids, but don't wear them for tv because of too many other sounds in our home. With the ZVOX I can now much more clearly understand what people are saying on tv without the volume so loud it yells at others! My family is grateful!

Having a small room this sound bar works excellent. It delivers a great mid range without the sub. But if your wanting more boom for your buck I would recommend the wireless sub. My space doesn’t allow for it unfortunately.

This was a good deal ! Its sounds great and it also solves the low dialog and loud action scenes. The price was great because it was an open box special that was rated "Excellent condition" which is was.
