- A: AnswerHello TFT1991, Yes, the RIG 800 PRO HX will play your microphone audio back through the headset. This feature is called mic monitoring or sidetone. It is included in all current RIG wireless headsets. For the 800 PRO HX, there is a separate button specifically for this feature located on the left earcup between the charging port and volume dial. - A: AnswerHello Wolvdog316, It sounds like your game/chat balance is not correctly balanced. Please note, both your Xbox console and your RIG 800 PRO HX have game audio/chat audio (speaker audio) balance functions. One the headset, it is the top dial button - turn it up towards the controller symbol and you get more of the game audio. Turn it down towards the person symbol and you get more of the chat audio in your speaker. You may have this dial turned all the way "up" towards the controller symbol which means you are getting all game and no chat. Also, check out your Xbox Series S console settings - make sure you have selected "Headset" for your Party chat output. To find this, go to Settings>Volume & Audio Output>Volume Options> and set Party Chat Output to "Headset". Both of these PC formats also support the Dolby Access app, which you can download for free, to enable the Dolby Atmos for Headphones surround sound when you plug in the RIG 800 PRO HX USB wireless adapter (via multi-function base or directly) into your Windows PC. Please note, the 2.4 GHz RF wireless adapter included with the RIG 800 PRO HX has a switch to toggle between XBox play and PC use. Set it to PC when using it with your Windows 11 device. - A: AnswerHi Velly, All RIG gaming products from Nacon are covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty against any defects. So you are covered there. If the wireless adapter went missing or otherwise needed to be replaced and it wasn't covered by warranty, then you would need to replace it to continue using the RIG 800 PRO HX. Or there is also the option of Best Buy Geek Squad extended coverage. The headset and wireless adapter operate on a proprietary 2.4GHz lag-free digital RF wireless connection. So you can not connect directly to Xbox or PC without the adapter. Nacon will be making the adapter available as a separate item for purchase. That will be available approximately March/April 2023. What an amazing headset and charging dock!
This is hands down the best gaming headset I’ve ever owned! I honestly think they are better than most of the expensive Turtle Beach headsets out there. It is super lightweight, which is what I was looking for to play long sessions without it being uncomfortable. When you’re playing a game or watching a movie that supports Dolby Atmos, the experience is incredible! The sound is so crisp and clear! The controls on the left side, are easily accessible, and I love that there is a separate volume wheel for the mic. Speaking of the mic, I’m not really a fan of mics that go around your face, but this one is really convenient because you can adjust it to your liking, and flip it up when you’re not using it, and it will automatically turn the mic off. The battery life is amazing too! Since I’ve purchased The Rig over a month ago, I haven’t had to charge it mid game, or during a long movie. One day, I played WARZONE for about 3 and a half hours, watched about 3 movies that day, along with YouTube videos in between, and still had almost 40% battery life. Having a charging base is also a really great plus! It is so easy to dock it after you’re done using. Also, having a dock, brings back the points that were taken away when I realized it has micro usb charging. But with a dock, I forget it’s even there because I don’t use the charging port with the base. It is also very comfortable and the design is really cool imo! I will say one minor thing, if you’re looking for a headset with a lot of bass, you may want to compare to other headsets. That is something that doesn’t bother me, because the sound is still incredible from this really lightweight headset. Compared to the heavier headsets with more bass, I will chose this headset every time. It still sounds really crisp, clear, and can get very loud during action sequences in games in movies! Overall this is an amazing headset and base for the price! I think it’s way more comfortable than the Astro a50, and that headset is double the price without a base. The a50 also feels cheap for the price. Go with the Rig, it does not disappoint!

*Great High-End Budget Headset*
Ive been gaming on Xbox Consoles since the first Xbox 360 came out in 2005. Thats 19 years ago. Ive used numerous headsets from Turtle Beach, Astros etc. Once i started using RIG headsets Ive pretty much never went back to any other brand. The great thing about this headset is the affordability with a charging cradle. I mean you cant beat that. Especially when they give you a Dolby atmos subcription. Furthermore the qaulity is great and ive had no issues whatsoever! Great headset for the price!

Great gaming headset for a decent price
Great headset the ear muffs feel amazing, noise cancelation is top of the line, good quality light but durable materials, exceptional battery life, wireless so plenty of freedom to live while you game i would recommend this to anybody tired of having to struggle with a cord
