Ring - Indoor Wireless 1080p Security Camera - Black

I’ve had this Ring unit for a week now and I like it. I wanted to integrate another Ring security camera into my existing Ring system, but more importantly one small enough to sit on the window sill to detect anyone prowling outside my front window. This camera is smaller than my hand. The motion detection works perfect. Only had one false detection (motion alarm) from moving shadows on a heavy windy day. I readjusted the motion settings and this fixed it. The motion zones are adjustable to the specific areas that you only want. The night vision is basically on par with most other Ring cameras, meaning it’s ok but could be better. Supposedly this camera is designed for interior window placement, it has a setting just for this. Only problem is this camera emits a blue light when in use which reflects back off the window, greatly noticeable at night. The night time use and visibility at night works best when there’s no light around the window. Ring should have made this camera in black because the white reflects too much off the window at night. Based on its use so far, I highly trust it will accurately detect and alarm my iPhone if someone is prowling around outside my window day or night.

I gave the indoor camera a try, and I like the footage quality.And not to mention the subscription price as well that’s a plus. Now my free trial is over so I can’t preview any recorded footage. I will subscribe soon to take advantage of all the benefits ring offers. Con: i have the Rapid Ring app, first it worked Great , but now when I open app as soon as I get a notification I get a Black screen and makes this weird UFO SOUND or green stripes appear.otherwise I do recommend planning to buy 1-2 more

Great indoor camera with a multitude of uses. After having a rat problem in our attic I installed a couple of these “RatCams” to keep an eye on things. They quickly let us know just how bad the problem was from a cracked vent stack! We also use them to keep an eye on our animals when were away and see their bad behavior on the counters…

This camera is fantastic. It brings peace of mind to be able to look in my apartment when I’m not home. There is a small price for playback service however it still works even if you don’t subscribe to RING service - very affordable monitoring though.

My mom and I live alone together and lately she’s left the stove on she is elderly so I decided to get another ring product this was very easy to install And it gives a great view day and night thank you for making such a great product

Bought this camera 2 days ago, once installed it gave me 30 days free cloud storage. After that I’ll have to pay subscription $3 monthly or 30 yearly (optional) Without subscription you can view live footage , but no recordings can be viewed or saved. Comes with camera, power cable,mounting hardware,and a wall mount if mounting on a wall (Cool),Window sticker papers with instructions. Great 1080 resolution Good 2way talk mic and speaker Nice siren Alarm Plugs in wall outlet (NOT WIRELESS) I also downloaded RAPID RING APP on iPhone to view footage much faster. This camera model is indoor only (reason why is $59.99) I will buy more in the future . This one is going on kids room . No more he said she said, or he start it. I love my ring product. I have the doorbell on the front and back door of my trailer and this one I have mounted so soon as you walk in my house surprise your being filmed so when I’m away or home my ring camera comes in handy
